Remains described as being those of a small child were found Thursday near the home of missing toddler Caylee Anthony's grandparents, a spokesman for the Orange County, Florida, sheriff's office said.

The discovery was made about 9:30 a.m. by a utility worker who alerted authorities, spokesman Jim Solomons said. Investigators, including those from the Anthony case, were on the scene, he said.

The remains will be sent to the FBI lab at Quantico, Virginia, Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said.

Well It looks like they may have found the body of Caylee Anthony. Of course they still have to do tests to determine whether or not the body does infact belong to 3 year old Caylee.

I am so saddened. I was hoping so much that she was still alive. Well I guess we dont know for sure if its her or not yet. We will know soon enough and as they said in the article

"Asked whether the remains could belong to another child, Beary said, "Not that we know of, but that's always a possibility, and that's why we've got a lot of work to do on this case still."

I am so sickened by this case. Whats worse is this type of stuff happens everyday.

Wow, Nobody has anything to say about this? I thought for sure someone would be interested in this sad case.

When I heard about this story I added a link in the existing thread on the topic, "Missing Person" and was surpised that no one responded.

It is a tragic ending to a horrific situation. I believe they are going to try to seek the death penalty for Casey Anthony and though I do believe in the death penalty overall, in this situation I think it would be too light of a punishment for Casey.

My heart goes out to the Grandparents and other family members that probably knew this would be the outcome but suspecting it is not nearly as horrible as learning that it is reality.

RIP Caylee - I know you are in a better place and I'm sure many angels are by your side treating you the way you deserved to be treated while on this earth.
