U.S. forces have carried out nearly 30 air strikes in Pakistan this year, according to a Reuters count, more than half since the beginning of September.

The attacks have killed more than 220 people

This clearly shows the great amount of respect the United States gives to territorial integrity and sovereignty, especially when it involves a democratic government.

After all, George Bush did say this regarding Russia's invasion of Georgia...

"Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century [...] Russia's government must respect Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty."

No matter how delusional a thought it may be, Pakistan technically is a federal republic.

Then again, who are we to criticize and judge what a federal republic should be? We can't even run it properly ourselves.

What else but another war would it take to stop the Americans in their murderous rampage across the globe?

Financial collapse? - nothing a big war couldn't fix (ie. WW2)

When the Big war comes, you Yanks will be playing the role of Nazi Germany, Canada will likely play the role of Austria... unless we end up play the role of Finland.

Either way, a big war is coming.

The difference is that Georgia never supported numerous terrorist causes, nor harboured terrorists within their territory, nor had an out of control army establishment.

Pakistan has admitted that they cannot effectively fight the terrorists holed up within their country. When terrorists attack, the Pak gov't labels them as "non state" actors. At the same time, Pakistan refuses to accept other nations interventions.

Are we, the attacked, supposed to sit and watch as Pakistan will not do anything nor allow anyone else to do anything against the terrorists either?

The US is not the perpetual evil that it is portrayed as... the US was right to go into Afghanistan, wrong to go into Iraq, and will be right to step up drone attacks against militant camps in Pakistan.

You're right. Georgia supported nor harbored terrorists.

Instead they just carried out the terrorist causes themselves, and showed the rest of the fact-based world that they themselves are the terrorists.

Sovereignty is sovereignty, not just when it supports the United States' deluded foreign policy.

I am a Australian. I live in West Australia.

Terrorists or not what the US is doing is illegal and as such Pakistan should bomb America. they too can state anyone who attacks us or harbours terrrorists then we will attack them. The US has attacked them and it does harbour terrorists. If every nation that the US attacks hit back on the mainland US I think you would see a big change of heart in the people.

Americans attack with impunity assuming they are safe from attack from anyone else, well thats not the case anymore and if they keep bringing war to the doorstep of others so the same will happen to them and rightly so. These conflicts are not being fought for the protection of America or Americans, no they are fought for greed and profit and nothing else.

Just a suggestion, but could this be a covert India/US strike in retaliation for Mumbai?

You figure since the US is already adept at these kinds of drone strikes, it would probably make more sense for India to get its revenge quietly and covertly like that and not increase tensions. But the militants regardless will probably strike again over this.

Well then don't give them what they want get out of the ME and anywhere else the US is murdering and torturing people. Americans would be singing a different tune if bombs were raining down on their country but as that has never happend they assume it never will.
