Multiple “UFOs” in formation taped over Chile

I think we need some middle ground for everyone here.

For all you common sense, logicians. They are aeroplanes.
But all you disclosure hopefulls, don't be dissapointed. The planes are piloted by Greys.
Cool. Now we got everyone covered.

Absolutely fantastic footage, but it does make me think sometimes about who these are. I mean come on if you wanted to force a lie on somebody you would make a show of yourself, and make clear the lie for them to believe wouldnt you.

But if you where aliens and coming down to have a look, the last thing you would want to do i think is make a show of yourself, so why not turn your lights off.

Why do they need lights anyway?

I'm not a de-bunker just I think I have come to grow from this website, and things dont always seems what they really are.

I have my doubts that they are military airplanes practicing an airshow formation.

1. We practice for the conditions we fly, airshows are a day time VFR (visual flight rules) kind of activity.

2. When I did fly formation at night, we flew with limited lighting. Bright white light kills your night vision. Formation lights are a combination of blue and red lights. (Though we did use some white light--they were no where near as bright as the video shows.)

3. That many aircraft at night in such a tight formation? Sorry. Color me skeptical on that one.

I would believe it to be a fake video before I believe it to be military aircraft maneuvers. That and the X-Files music is too over the top.

Interesting footage, I can see its most probably jets like phage has said. Yet at the same time I do believe in aliens visiting our planet and observing us and I agree with you as to not believing anything what the military say.

just a question, you know near the end where the formation changes into some kind of symbol? has anyone reconised this symbol as anything the military use?

Im just watching the video again and I agree with Joe, the formations fly too close together to be jets I believe. If you look closely you can see some dodgy pixalation around the edges of the lights so maybe this is cgi? im no professional film or cgi person so dont hold me to this lol.... however I do wish they are really flying objects being flown by entities from another world!

Once again , another piece of garbage not even worth watching. The moment the freakin X-files music cues up is the very moment I stop watching.

Anyone who is serious about exposing or identifing possible UFO sightings do not and should not apply a soundtrack to a video clip.

All credibilty is instantly flushed down the toilet.

You people make me sick.

You will never be able to convince any of the sheeple this stuff is real if you make it look and sound like a joke.

Another fantastic find from ATS resident ufology expert. I am on the fence with this one as I just can't make up my mind, I am kind of swaying towards terrestrial but I just don't know. Keep them coming easynow

even though the evidence points towards this being planes... i share some of your reservations about this as well.

i am not a pilot but i think the lights would most certainly make it difficult to have a clear enough vision to stay in a tight formation like this. also if these lights on the supposed airplanes are recessed in the nose of the plane than i really don't understand how they appear they way they do when moving left or right in the view of the camera.

also how come i don't see any strobe lights and red blinking lights like you see on most airplanes ? hmm....

Ok, Thanks to Phage for putting this out there. There you go people, done. No UFO's, No Greys, No Klaatu Barada Nikto. Not every store put out about lights in the sky is a cover up. The lights in the video look like a formation of military jets. Phage's article says it was a formation of military jets. What more do you want? I am a "skeptic believer, if you will. If I can't explain it or find an explanation, It's real. There's only a handful of videos that I believe to be real. This not being any of them.

Some of the lights did have a nice impression of a possible alien craft/UFO anyway. In the beginning they looked more like flashing candles. Anytime these appear at night and then break apart suggests BS.

A real alien craft might not ever be seen and if they were and wanted to put on some show, it would be much more than a few lights. I'm still waiting for the close encounters effect as if spoiled.

Hey, I'm all for finding the truth. And I love all the effort people put into these threads to actually confirm some of these sightings. But you have to admit that putting music on the video just makes it so cheesey.

well of course the music is annoying, i think we all agree on that.

my main concern when seeing a ufo video with music is , are they trying to cover up noise that can be associated with the sighting ? that always is suspicious to me and if someone is serious about presenting A ufo video as evidence than they should leave the evidence the way it is.

i appreciate your kind words my friend and even though this maybe planes i think it was worth discussing because the Military has been known to put out cover story's and i wanted to make sure this was not the case here.

Anyone spot the artefacts around the 'UFO' - easy to say these are just the MPEG compression artefacts - but they arn't - looks like what happens when you composite something into a vid, and it looks fine at high res - but then as soon as you compress, the imperfections become much more obvious if your composite is imperfect!

I reckon this was a few fighters flying over, someone just simply copied and pasted the lights, dead easy in After Effects.

As for the vid, it is interesting. If that was military crafts, something we have never seen before. But again, how are we ever going to get to the bottom of these sightens unless we come up with a decent video or picture?
