A lot of people wish to stop them regardless of current "laws", people are allowed to legally oppose such developments. Laws are fluid and can change- I personally do not wish to see an increasing muslim population in the UK and nor do I want to see increasing numbers of mosques or islamic schools- this feeling is not an isolated one, and the more people are pushed the more they will strenghten their resolve

I wouldn't say alot of people want to stop them.Maybe people like you and BNP who hardly make up any numbers.Muslim population is increasing and will continue at a very fast pace unless UK folows China's way of family planning.

Last time I checked British people are free to worship any religion they wish and set up schools based on religion. There are plenty of jewish religious schools paid by the tax payers and also Catholic schools.

I have a sense that your agenda is with people of colour who happen to be muslims. Your concern of the Muslim population growing is your bigoted paranoia; as far as I am concerned, the more the better.

I would rather not if you don’t mind. Why should I put up with this drug taking alcoholics when the middle classes and aristocracy cannot abide by the them. These are the kind of people that turn everything they touch to sh*t, so why would you want me to meet these dregs?

In a way I agree with you. I am black and there are black people I would not want to be within a mile. Scumbags come in all shades of colour and religion. What will save us all is an education, high ethical standards and respecting others for their real needs not selfish ones.

What is different about Israel and the behaviour of some Israelis is their hypocrisy and facism. To imagine that there are Israeli neonazis, the practise of apartheid and the rest is crazy, yet it is happening and any comment is attacked with cries of anti-Semite.

Whilst there might be `muslim only` schools in the UK there are also

The Krishna-Avanti school in Harrow is the UK`s first Hindu only school, with another being built in Leicester - this is a state school there are many private ones.

The Guru-Nanak is a sikh state school on hillington - again there are several private ones.

and of course many many christian schools.

There is one less than a mile away called the 'Raza Jamia Masjid Mosque' Look into it all you want, and I dont live in an inner city area. Its lancashire, we are a county of small towns.

There are other schools like this, iv been told most are girls only schools though.

If it is not a school why do children attend during the day?
They enter from at least 8.30 am, it may be a mosque by night but surely if these kids had a school to go to they wouldnt be there during the day.

I havent tried to send my children there!! Its in a horrible place, and it is a muslim school. Why would I send my kids there when I am not muslim?

The point I was trying to make in my original post was that there is too much hypocracy in religion and it is pointless. People hold grudges about things that happened before they were born.

I see your point, but when there is about 8 other schools which are closer, Id rather just send them there. Also, if I had a school with only muslims there and another school with a mixed group id go for the mixed group everytime. Nothing against the muslim schools but you wouldnt want to stand out like a sore thumb at school.

your wording made it kind of hard, the way you say Its a Muslim school and area is horible.

my sis had 2 schools near here

the catholic and normal one
she chose the catholic one for one reason better education.
not on faith.

its not about standing out, its about getting the best for ones off spring.
