Does the matrix extend beyond our physical world?

I've been reading how this world of ours is actually controlled by powerful humans and non-humans. I've read that these individuals are planning to institute a one-world-government by manipulating events involving various countries.

But lately I've been reading some sources that suggest that the lords of the matrix are controlling more than the physical world of planet Earth.

The suggestion is that when we die the "guides" that show us how we have screwed up are actually part of the massive con-job that keeps us coming back over and over, because we are a product that is being exploited by elite humans, and more importantly by non-human entities.

Do they control more than this physical world? It's a scary thought, but if it's true, I'd rather know the truth so I can figure out how to proceed.

Interesting subject, I don't think the spirit world beyond is completely controlled by anyone. I think that different factions may well have more influence in it, but I believe it will mostly be controlled by the person experiencing it in a major way. Things and experiences will come to you that may be scary or amazing but they can't hurt you unless you allow them or give them that power.

I think there are going to be factions of every religion, philosophy, some will criss cross and they will come to you in some kind of order. So you may well have some "deceiver" come to you after you die and try to convince you to take a bad path. But I don't think it's totally controlled.

Even Earth isn't totally controlled. It's pretty darn well manipulated but every single one of us has a choice with what to do with the time given us. Physically speaking, the people of the world could change it in a few weeks if they really wanted to, but they'd have to want it more than anything else. But that doesn't let us off the hook does it. Same thing with the spirit world I imagine.

I don't know. Is that the movie with Piano Reeves and that guy who should've been Ernie Hudson where they wear poop-stained clothes and complain about the past? I watched part of it on TNT once.

It does. If one is to believe that those in power of this world control the physical, one must accept that they control at least part of the ethereal.

This does not denote the importance of ones personal stance on truth and justice. This is my opinion, naturally. If we consider ourselves to be infinite, that would naturally mean that we are beyond total control. This is where free will plays a huge part.

It would be wise to question everything that we are told in this reality. You must learn to make the distinction yourself. Generally, if you are an upstanding soul, then you will know the difference when you see it. Those who practice their reality evilly will announce themselves. Take what you will from all that is, and keep what you think is sacred. This is the only way you will stand a chance against them.

we invented the matrix. Matrix is commonly used in software.

If you ever seen the movie matrix... It refers to the computers. Most people think matrix just means computers but they are wrong.

Pppft.... matrices are so overused, a poor attempt at a 'one size fits all' solution. Try quaternion hierarchies, they composite so much better...

But back to the OP, who is using the term 'matrix' in the vernacular, as "a complex and covert system of control and encapsulation".

In that case, you should as, when considering the extents of such a hypothetical thing: "is what I'm asking disprovable?"

See, even if you could say "no that's silly, all evidence points to it just being devious humans exploiting other humans", could you prove that? Perhaps there's 'multiple levels' to such a matrix, where another matrix encapsulates and exploits the actions of the so-called worldly-elite!

The point is, is there any way to disprove that? Hooray, paranoia maintained eternal!

The Matrix control system, if you will, is probably controlled - if it exist. The gnostics thought that this material world and any other attached to it (that includes the "spiritual") world is created and controlled by its makers. They stated that a mentioned council of three is set up to get you into the next body for karmic reasons.

If it is true I can only but wonder, but are they going to do if I say "NO".

I was of the impression that Blockbuster video was purely a terrestrial venture?

I like to think that your mind and your soul are outside your body. You are just basically a reciever for both the mind and your soul, and then these are basically just connected to you through frequencies. I think the government knows this, and they then can exploit this to there cause.

So it interesting about death and all, but we will not know. So the powers that be(i doubt humans control this planet, we are just too stupid, especially spiritually), we are on a planet against our will, so maybe the term prison planet is apt for our experience here.
