I didn't actually read any of that, maybe when I get back from my run, but I just wanted to say....how hard could it be to be president?
I could do it.
In fact I'd do it for free.
You have writes and advisors and assistants.
I'm certain its the easiest job in the world, and anyone who can't do it, is a complete failure.
Gimme 24 hours in office...utopian society....DONE.
The only people who want him to produce his birth certificate are racist loonies or sympathizers.
Sorry for the one liner.

If the Secretary of States in the 50 states have no responsibility in determining a candidate's eligibility or the poltiical party the candidate represents and now the U.S. Supreme Court makes no comment, are we to conclude anyone can be a candidate for president of these united States of America without ever having to prove they are constitutionally qualified?
This question must be answered because to ignore it is to foster never ending lawsuits and telling we the people that the U.S. Constitution no longer matters
"Our efforts to compel Senator Barack Obama to produce a valid birth certificate in order to prove that he is constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States are taking off!
"As you may already know, we recently filed suit in California to push the issue and, at this very moment, we're helping to fund the suit in Mississippi. We are in communication with other states that have suits in process; and we're putting plans into action to file suits in additional states as well!
"According to a recent headline in WorldNetDaily, Team Obama tried to dismiss efforts to demand that he prove his eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States as "GARBAGE"!
"But they're taking the matter a little bit more seriously NOW! With each passing day, Team Obama is finding it harder and harder to dismiss the question.
"Team Obama would love for this issue to simply die or go away. We're not going to let that happen!
"Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States, states, "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

Lies, half-truths, opinion, and speculation. This is fodder for a "conspiracy"? What an enormous waste of time. Try spending your energies on something constructive. In case you haven't noticed, our economy is in a tailspin. What are you doing to help?
In light of all this, is it too much for President-elect Obama to simply authorize the release of his birth documents and settle the matter once and for all before any further harm comes to our Constitution.
Or, perhaps George W. Bush was right when, according to several credible accounts, he described the Constitution of the United States as "just a goddamned piece of paper."

Great thread.
I appreciate the fullness and balanced information all in one place.
Of course I wouldn't have expected any less from Jim Marrs!
I also wish this would just be straightened out with the proper documents, I don't understand why someone in such a position would even want the debate if it could be resolved by the long version of the birth certificate Just Show Us!!!
I do have one question about the law concerning the mother having to be a resident for five years after 16 years of age. It would seem that if she was an American citizen her entire life her child wouldn't be withheld citizenship just because she was not yet 21.
His mother was already an American citizen from birth, wasn't she?

why should he give in to these people’s demands when he doesn’t have to?
Obama hasn’t broken any law or violated the Constitution.

If he considers himself an American citizen and performs to the best of his ability. So why does is matter where he born?
