You think you have rights?

I guess the guy failed to disperse when ordered to do so...despite doing nothing wrong to warrant being ordered to move. That cop is a bully and probably learned his craft chasing kids in a "No Skateboard Area". Methinks that agencies should do more psychological testing of those in authority like police and other law enforcement officers. Meanwhile comply with such orders to avoid making trouble and being arrested....

The Germans (High Command anyway) considered the Jews as subhuman, thus they didnt have any human rights...similar to biggoted behavior in the American south towards blacks in post slavery America.

According to Michael Badnarik, a guy who has a doctorate in constitutional law, the Bill of Rights, etc. The Constitution and Bill of Rights in their wording state that we are born with the rights listed in the bill of rights. The government didn't give them to us, they can't take them away. We have rights the government has privledges.

They are elected because we have elected them, and we are allowing them privledges as our representatives. Nothing supercedes the Constitution - it can not. What the country is founded on can't be modified, added to, subtracted from or altered in anyway or it is not the same country.

When our government starts to rule the people instead of represent them - time to get rid of that government who are editing things to become a dictatorship. They can't edit things. Government has to stay true to the constitution. We don't work for them - they work for us!

Granted, for thirty years they have been slowly becoming a tyranical out of control, run away beast with no morals. Thomas Jefferson said "True Patriots will overthrow an out of control government".

Since no one will stand up to the government - here we are. But we ARE born with these rights they have just been stolen from us and we haven't done anything about it.

You people have no idea what it's truely like to live in a country where the government gives you no rights. You, like most other American citizens, are taking what you have for granted.

You think just because the government cracks down on something they think is wrong, or do something stupid, that we have no rights and the American people are being mistreated by our government.

Anyone who says or thinks we have no rights or the American government is attempting to take what they can away just makes me sick. Wake up and realize you live in AMERICA. In my opinion, best country in the world.

If you have negative things to say about this country, get out. And furthermore, saying bad things about this country Makes. You. A. TERRORIST!

Just open your eyes and realize your lives as Americans ain't bad, it's quite nice, in fact. And enjoy the freedoms and rights you DO have, that I've fought for, that I've lost good friends for...

Couldn't have been said better but I would like add that the reason we have seat belt laws is because paramedics and firemen got tired of literally scraping peoples body off of freeways and city streets. Its not like your going to come back from the dead and pick up your body are you? no. Someone else has to do that dirty job for you and you know what im sure they have dreams about it well into their life. It is ridiculous and irresponsible how many people are masticated on free ways every year because they are not wearing seat belts.

So please excuse the government for trying to save your life.

My favorites are nine and ten together.
ANY RIGHTS not listed in the bill of rights and not specifically addressed by the states, are retained BY THE PEOPLE if they believe it is a right. This is the ultimate trump card. Too bad so many are playing with an incomplete deck of cards and are ok with it.

These are just words on paper. They can be taken away at anytime. What good are rights that can be taken from you on a whim? They are not rights, they are privileges that you feel you deserve to have when the truth is, you do not. You used to have the right in America to drive without a seatbelt. That was a right wasnt it? Helmet laws? See how rights can come and go? That makes them not rights at all. As was stated before, show me the right to life stop someone from dying and you got me. Until then, it is all privileges
