There is a lot of positive that can come from an earthquake. Sometimes learning lessons can appear to be, on the outside, very challenging.

No one is being negative. No one is saying "I want destruction!".

Actually, there are many on this site that seem to want destruction. Not everyone obviously, but there are plenty who post a thumbs up when there is something negative. As if they are saying "woot, a disaster!" I hear plenty touting how well prepared they are. How certain doom is. How all future events are negative disasters. So I don't agree.

Some perhaps are not saying that, but imho, there are many on this site that would love nothing more than an asteroid plowing into our planet, WWIII, a NWO takeover, or lizard aliens overrunning our civilization.

Ok, so tgambill, I thought you were going a little overboard with your posts about HAARP on this thread, because I have never really researched HAARP and I had no idea what it could do, but I did check out some of the videos on that website, and I have to say, that your posts just might be relevant.

I can see why you're saying that HAARP could be the cause of massive earthquakes on earth for two reasons:

1. According to one of the videos on the current.com website, every single earthquake in one week's recorded time period all over the globe was at exactly the same depth: 10 km. We're talking dozens of earthquakes which were at the exact same depth. To me, that sounds like more than just a mere coincidence.

2. When HAARP is used, flashes of light are seen in the sky, similar to the aurora borrealis.

3. Before recent large earthquakes, witnesses have said that the sky looked like lightning was lighting up the whole sky, but without any sound of thunder. To me, that sounds similar to the aurora borrealis.

So, this intrigues me. Especially since when I was growing up and learning about weather phenomenon, we were never taught that before an earthquake, the sky lights up. If this is a common occurrence, you would think that it would be well known, and widely known.

For example, I grew up in Nebraska, smack dab in the middle of tornado alley. Everyone in the midwest knew what the sky looks like before a tornado hits, and what to watch for during tornado season. (For example, if everything gets eerily still, and the air gets heavy, and the birds stop singing and the sky starts turning green, it's time to head for the basement!)

Now, I never grew up in earthquake-prone regions, but I know people who have, and I've never heard anyone talk about "lights in the sky" before a large earthquake, until I started hearing about it this year. You hear about it once, you don't think much of it. But then you keep hearing about it....and hmmm.

You would think that if it was a common phenomenon, people would know about it, and it would be more of a "common knowledge" thing. After all, even people who didn't grow up near the ocean know about the phrase "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in the morn, sailor be warned." Weather phenomenon has a way of seeping into the general population's common knowledge, simply because weather has been around for a long, long, long time.

So why is it that I'm only starting to hear about this phenomenon (lights in the sky before a large earthquake) this year? Up until this year, I had never heard about it. But this year, I have heard about this phenomenon several times, especially about the quakes in Asia, and not just on ATS.

So, let's see.....when was HAARP invented? Was it in the 90's?

Are there any earthquake survivors out there who survived large earthquakes before the 90's? If so, was there talk about people seeing lights in the sky beforehand? Are there any people who grew up in earthquake prone areas who can tell us if that is a common phenomenon, and I have just never heard of it until now?

Or, are there any earthquake experts out there who can tell us if it is usual for lights in the sky to precede large earthquakes?

If it is not a common phenomenon, and if people continue to see lights in the sky before large earthquakes, then maybe there could be a connection with HAARP, as tgambill and others are suggesting.

I'm not suggesting that HAARP is a weapon, because I have a hard time believing that scientists could be that evil, but maybe the earthquakes could have been an unintended side-effect from the use of the HAARP equipment. Similar to unintended side-effect of whales dying from the use of the underwater sonar used by the US navy.

Obviously, the navy did not build the sonar simply to kill whales, but regardless of that fact, it seems to be killing whales. Yet the navy keeps denying that possibility that their sonar is killing the whales, obviously so they can keep using their sonar. So, maybe HAARP was created for a specific reason, but then it was discovered that it had the unfortunate side-effect of causing earth quakes. Bummer. But they'll never admit it because then they would have to close down the HAARP station, and not be able to use it for whatever they wanted to use it for....whatever that was.

(Ok, so maybe I'm naive, and maybe HAARP is a weapon, but I just can't see a bunch of scientists sitting around going "Hey, watch this, dude! I'm about to cause a 9.2 quake in China!" just for the fun of it.)

Doing a few searches on their site it is obvious that the frequency/magnitude varies but not having studied quakes I wonder if it is a precursor to larger events when the magnitude and frequency increases. Maybe some one else knows?

Forty black uniformed foreign cops reported at Virginia truck stop on I-81

Somewhere about 30 miles south of Harrisonburg, VA, on I-81 is a truck stop. I believe it’s the one near Raphine, VA. However, regardless, there is a particular truck stop on I-81 because I have been there several times and seen the small arms display featured by the truck stop owner. The weapons are locked under glass and among the many guns displayed is a .45 ACP Thompson WWII submachine gun.

Last week, 7-11 May 2007, a US “citizen” who reads “my stuff”” observed four unmarked vans pull into this particular truck stop. He purposely counted the [exactly] forty black uniformed men; i.e., ten men per van, as they dismounted. He later verified the “body count” in the restaurant: Forty! The vehicles were the 10-12 passenger models such as senior citizens are shuttled around in. The windows were shaded “absolutely dark”.

The troops, who were wearing “NATO Black” BDU’s, [NO IDENTIFYING INSIGNIA VISIBLE] were all 6 feet tall, or above, and all under 30 years old. They exhibited “military bearing”, had short haircuts; and were also “throwing their weight around”, making their presence obvious.

Shortly, our “citizen” encountered one of the “officers”, who by the way, was not carrying a visible sidearm, that is, the 9mm Makerov which Clinton imported in 1994 to the tune of 700, 000. He was looking at the gun display; particularly the Thompson. “Nice gun” citizen says. The reply was, “Yeah”.

So, what are we doing about this kettle of fish? According to the article "We know almost nothing" about Chinese military and intelligence activities in the region. What is our CIA doing? We can't be focusing all our attention on the WOT in the Middle East and forgetting that we have encroaching dangers in our own hemisphere. I have been writing about China's increasing presence in our hemisphere for some time -- they are increasing their presence not only in Latin America, but in Canada and even the Caribbean. Let's bring back the old Monroe Doctrine. The information that China may even be supplying missiles to Cuba has a familiar and ominous ring to it -- remember the Cuban missile crisis? We came that close to nuclear confronation with the USSR back then.

Chinese military trains in West

China is stepping up military training in Latin America because of a law that limits U.S. military support to nations in the region, the general in charge of the U.S. Southern Command told Congress yesterday.

Gen. Bantz J. Craddock, who oversees U.S. military activities in the region, said a lack of engagement on the part of the United States has benefited China.

"If we are not there and we can't provide this opportunity, someone else will," Gen. Craddock told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

The Associated Press reports Mexican army convoys and a navy ship laden with food, supplies and specialists traveled to the United States on Wednesday to help in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort:

A convoy of 45 vehicles and 196 soldiers arrived at the border city of Nuevo Laredo Wednesday evening. It was to cross into U.S. territory early Thursday, Gen. Francisco Ortiz Valadez told reporters as his men refueled at a local gas station.

He said the troops would help refugee operations in San Antonio, Texas.

The convoy is the first Mexican military unit to operate on U.S. soil since 1846, when Mexican troops briefly marched into Texas, after it separated from Mexico and joined the United States.

Chinese military hackers have prepared a detailed plan to disable America’s aircraft battle carrier fleet with a devastating cyber attack, according to a Pentagon report obtained by The Times.

The blueprint for such an assault, drawn up by two hackers working for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), is part of an aggressive push by Beijing to achieve “electronic dominance” over each of its global rivals by 2050, particularly the US, Britain, Russia and South Korea.

Russian military team in Cuba

Moscow, Oct 28 (IANS)) In what may be seen as Moscow’s growing defence collaboration with Latin American countries, a Russian military delegation is in Cuba to review the island nation’s defence preparedness.The Russian team, headed by air chief General Alexander Maslov, will visit air defence units to discuss training of Cuban personnel in modern weaponry and command and communication system, EFE reported Tuesday.

“The two sides will share experiences in organising air defences and discuss the possibility of training Cubans in modern military techniques at Russian training centres,” Russian army spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

General Maslov will also meet the chief of the Cuban general staff, Alvaro Lopez Miera, and the commander of Cuba’s air force, Pedro Gomez.

In recent months, Russia has established ties with Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Cuba and even US ally Colombia.

In September, Russian vice-prime minister Igor Sechin travelled to Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba to meet his counterparts and discuss the possibility of increasing economic, military and political cooperation.

The same month, two Russian T-160 strategic bombers visited Venezuela for a joint military exercise and a Russian navy squadron has carried out joint war games with the Venezuelan navy.

Ok, tgambill, so while this is interesting information, it should probably be continued on a separate thread unless it has to do with the earthquake. This thread is about the coming earthquakes that are predicted by the web bot program.

Not that your information about the UN troops and the Chinese troops on US soil isn't important..... but I think the bulk of this information belongs on another thread. Could you start a separate thread on this someplace else and transfer the above information to that thread?

I'm just trying to keep us on topic here. Our original poster has done a great job of starting this thread and doing a lot of research on it, and I think we owe it to her to keep this thread on-topic about the predicted earthquakes

However, if the twin earthquakes DO occur this week as predicted, it would be interesting to find out from you and others: how can someone tell if an earthquake was triggered by HAARP or by natural forces? If what you say is true, how can it be proved? Or if not proved, can you provide compelling evidence?

For example, let's take the phenomenon of crop circles. Due to in-depth investigation by crop circle researchers, we now know that real "crop circles" have energy signatures, whereas hoaxed crop circles do not. There are also other very important things that differentiate real crop circles from hoaxed crop circles such as the way the plant was bent, lights that appear in the sky beforehand, etc....

Has anyone done similar research on HAARP created earthquakes vs naturally created earthquakes? Is there a frequency signature or a depth signature for HAARP created earthquakes? Are HAARP earthquakes always triggered at the same depth of 10 km, like the video said? If the twin earthquakes do happen this week as predicted, can we check to see if the depth of the earthquake is exactly 10 km, as other earthquakes were? Where is that information available online to the general public?

No because HAARP is NOT creating any Earth Quakes. The Russians messed with that during Kruschev's time and set up a resonance that they almost couldn't stop...

But HAARP has other business... You also forget that HAARP in Alaska is sitting on top of the most Active volcanic fault zone in the world. Just look at the Earthquake daily list for Alaska.

You really think they would be messing with shaking the ground beneath their feet?

That one is just outrageous. Does that mean a pretty major activity is goin on? or could it be an error in the graph?
