Just felt an earthquake

Just felt an earthquake in California. A few flimsy things knocked over, it was a very slight shake. It wasn't at all a violent shake, it was definitely a tiny one. Anyone else feel it?

Hope the apple doesnt fall.

Ya, was watching on Alert Map and saw it pop up. hisz.rsoe.hu...

I felt it but just though it was another one of the trona swarm earthquakes we have been feeling here at China Lake.

Thanks for the quick eyewitness post. I checked the USGS site and and they're saying 5.5 to confirm wht others have said.

Yep (thank you for posting the link!) and there was a 2.4 right after that, that's what the news is saying. We felt a slight shake here afterwards, and then a very, very slight one again. Probably the 2.4 and aftershocks.

Animal Strange Behavior

I'm in Orange County, CA at the moment and didn't feel anything. I just called the caretakers at our ranch in Julian, CA and they didn't feel anything either.

I hope there isn't any more shaking today - my four daughters are all sick and I'm really not in the mood for an earthquake.

I live in Riverside and I haven't noticed any quakes,must just be getting used to them maybe,felt a few last week

Thanks for the links. I haven't heard of one injury or any damages. It was a very tiny, tame event.

I know someone in Riverside who didn’t feel it either (they were sleeping), but a few people I know in Long Beach actually felt a few shakes yesterday.

Just felt another earthquake, wow. This time is made a loud banging sound, like it hit my house. I guess people in Costa Rica just experienced one a few hours ago too.

Burbank here...didn't feel it though the epicenter is about at my parents location...small earthquake regardless.
