Until the citizenry actually start to DO something about "it", these types of activities will continue unabated. Too many comments are always read on "I hope somebody out there does this, or that or the other thing". Well, how about you? Expressing ones rage on the internet is fine, but it won't get anything done. Lots of strong feelings, little plans of action, nothing gonna change. Look at the person in the mirror, determine your own line in the sand, and commit to action. It's a personal thing and not one gained via internet groupthink or advise.

THis says it best. F with the cops or authority figures trying to say stuff like this. if swat officers come to your house REMIND THE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING FOR THE 9 HOURS THEY ARE THERE. antagonize them. Ive done it to cops for things i thought were silly too. Freedom of speech. They'll try ann intimidate you. laugh. i haev 5 unpaid tickets for my college parking, cause parking permits are more ways to make money. they are on my Frig. Tell them which laws they are breaking. PAINFULLY remind them. tell them to debate you. they gonna lock you up (what for a day) if you idnt pay a fine? have that friend come and bail you out. simple.

This isthe best analogy i can think of. One time, martin Luther (forgive spelling) woke up and the devil was next to him in bed. He realized who it was, and rolled over and went back to sleep.

Organize america! communicate! arm yourselves! just like al queida, make cells!

The problem is "most" police officer's are too easily made into puppet's for the benefit of big brother. They don't realize that they are being manipulated for another man's profit. We will soon see the line between terrorist/criminal and citizen become so thin, the distinciton will be barely discernable. Prison's have been privatized and planted as seeds which whole communities along with all the commercial service's(restaurants, hotels, gas stations, Wal-marts, etc.) have grown around. Most of the inmates which are housed in these intsitutions are victims of the "drug war". My point being that police officers don't even realize they'e being used to round up non-violent drug offenders to fill these sweat shops we call prison's. Sure there are really bad people in these places that I wouldn't want wandering the street's and we do need prisons to keep them. I am not arguing that. What I'm trying to point out is how a cop doesn't think twice about what a person's crime really is and who they are offending/victimizing, they only care what the law says and that they are in violation of it. The perfect example being marijuana. Who is really being put in danger by pot heads, whom go to work everyday and pay taxes just like everyone else. They are just normal citizens who are made out to be hardened criminals by all the stupid propoganda that has been around since the early 1900's(Reefer Madness). The cop's could use a little common sense and decide for themselves that this person is not a criminal nor is he endangering anyones life or for that matter is he even disturbing anyone. Nope they allow themselves to be manipulated by a higher hand without question. It scare's the crap out of me and I only hope the few good cops will deter the bad.

In my situation, the last line of defense was the office of inspector general. The problem is that they have their people hearing and ruling and as much as you hear how great the system is, they are NOT going to go against their own people no matter how wrong they are. My lawyers told me that they had pulled the record of a hearing officer that they had to go against one time. He said that the hearing officer had the job for about 10 years and had ruled in the favor of a farmer only one time. You can't make me believe that every farmer that went before him for 10 years was wrong except one. How much do you want to bet that that one farmer paid him off under the table a large amount of money.

Considering the "sources" of the news article, and the lack of related "news" reporting by the local newspapers. It leads me to wonder, if the story could be a publicity stunt.

Still local food co-ops are everywhere in the Midwest, and are routinely inspected for food safety reasons. According to what I have read, The Manna Storehouse turned away the food safety inspectors. (Which were investigating for some "beef" related complaint.)

Any time a government official is "turned away" by a US citizen. Then some type of criminal activity is assumed and possibly is correct. (With the usual government "overkill" response.)

The Local Amish are routinely inspected for food safety reasons, and are allowed to "Sell" items under a State enforced license. And of the license is denied, they can't sell food period.

Of course, the Main problem is that any "money" made from selling food needs to reported to the Government for "taxing purposes". And when the government doesn't get her money, She get Mad. (Exp. the whiskey rebellion. Where Somebody stated (paraphrased) around 1800, ""the time will come when a shirt will not be washed without being taxed.")

Ok. Here's the truth on the Ohio food coop.
My sister emailed the lady from Manna storehouse.
The owner emailed her back.
The owner said it was terrible. Guns were on them as they seized their beef, lamb, food, computers cellphones, & records.
She also said her husband is serving in Irag right now.
How pathetic is that? Out govt. raids this families house while he helps defend our country.
My sister contacted a local tv station, TV 19, and they are looking in to doing an investigation.
So, the story is 100% true. It did happen.
The family has not been charged with anything yet.
Talk about an over reaction.
Won't be much longer now.
If they can do this to this family, they can do it to you and me. And will soon enough.

Take a look, there is a video from the people that were raided as well as some information on the blog that indicates their church was burned down as well recently. Pretty wild.

It seems clear to me that the government has a real big problem with any groups that stray from the mainstream and don't suckle enough off the gov't Kool-Aid teat.

It's not surprising that religious groups tend to get the most heat, because they probably form the strongest bonds within their membership and, because they tend to be relatively closed societies to outside citizens, can be easily persecuted with charges such as incest, polygamy, child abuse, etc.
