Thanks to everyone for their input. I have not seen a lot of members calling out "fake", thanks for your anonymous trust. I can assure you all this is NOT a fake and we are just trying to figure out and share our thoughts on what this could be (paranormal or otherwise).

Keep in mind that these Opti Loupes belonged to a person with an unsavory criminal background. I’m NOT the photographer of this photo, I’m the OP. The photographer’s screen name is magikshroom. He was on here posting and now he is banned. I think it had something to do with him having a website and admin may have thought he was trying to promote his website on ATS. His website is UNDER CONSTRUCTION and I introduced him to this site, for he knew nothing about ATS or other conspiracy type forums before he took this photo. It was my curiosity that encouraged him to allow me to post his photo here.

I do think the photo is rather creepy/strange and the majority of us are all seeing a similar scene. This leads me to lean toward the paranormal side of things and I’m not afraid to say so. My girlfriend is more of a skeptic than I am and she is also leaning toward a paranormal explanation. I’d have to guess and say that if you are posting, reading or talking about things in this forum, than it’s safe to say that we are somewhat interested in the paranormal aspect of life? Why can’t this image be just that, an image? I have never personally experienced anything outright paranormal in my life. This photo is the closest thing to a personal experience I’ve seen. Thanks again for everyone’s input…including the skeptics.

I'm very open to a logical explanation as to why the image is in the lens, other than a paranormal reason. If it is paranormal, then the image could really be anything, or anything we want it to be. But in this case, we are all seeing something similar.

I just wish that anyone new to this thread would read from the beginning so they have a clear understanding of the entire topic.

OK, I'm home on a good monitor now.

I see the following -

There is other stuff on top of the table. The camera is probably in front of the face of the person you can see on the left. I'm unsure about the flashlight but the shape fits. I also think there may be a camera strap on the shoulder. The person is so out of focus its hard to tell.

Edited to say I'm 99.99% that is a person on the left.

Are we all seeing the same thing??? I've been on this thread since for ....wait i'll check..yes..that's almost 24 hours now and believe me i've heard some explanations of what this is but i think i got it pinned. So that's why i'm searching the internet for a couple of hours now looking for a photo or painting resembling what i'm seeing.......

I'll get don't worry....it's just that the internet is big and there are a lot of pics.....

You just need an empty mind devoid of pre-conception and a good case of attention deficit disorder, a couple of brain injuries, the start of old age dementia and a boring life with nothing else to do at the moment.

In the foreground, I see two women with light colored clothing. I see the one on the left from the shoulders up and the one on the right from the waist up. They look as though they are turning to see something coming. Moving further back I see a post or light pole. Behind that, I see a sandy dirt road with a light colored car approaching. In the background, I see a treeline.

Looks like a floating car, but I can't really tell. Not enough resolution to come to any conclusions.

On your last picture I finally saw the Victorian lady with her back to us, although on second thoughts she'd be abnormally large in comparison to the trees, would she not? Unless they're bushes, hehe!

Personally, on first look, I thought the white blurry thing was a car, but the two white blobs kinda underneath it would prove otherwise - unless it'd run over a pair of white cones (y'know the orange ones they use for roadworks?! Heh heh!).

So then I saw the lake and the reflections, and it took me onto a whole new other thought...

You see the white cross on the right. Well, the other white blobs I saw two people, closest to us, carrying a white coffin. But they're not wearing black jackets. and it looks like they're walking to the right of the picture, or in that general direction.

Then this thought (
yeah, yeah, I know this is totally obscure!) led me to another. You know how some people see ghosts, right? Some ghosts seem to be stuck here on Earth, and reinacting a certain scene before their death, like stuck in some sort of timewarp. And they repeatedly go over and over the same scene.

Well, this made me think, maybe (if there IS such a thing as a ghost picture) that this ghost like picture turned up, but within it, a ghost scene which isn't reflected in the water. And a ghost tree. (haha, I know this is all way off and on a random tangent, but who knows, hehe!) Basically going along the theory of 'IF' Vampires exist, and if the myth of not seeing their own reflection in a mirror is true.

....now, does anyone understand what I'm getting at, or am I waffling a load of bull?!

(Don't worry if you don't understand my meaning, I can confuse myself sometimes - that's some feat!
)

Emmy, my girlfriend and I really liked your concept. It had a weird twist to it but an odd familiarity all the same. We both wanted to make a comment on how interesting your perspective was. I'm sure we've all had an intelligent/thoughtful post from time to time and it just ends up being skipped over in the shuffle. I wish I could respond to everyone's insights but that would take some time....and it's also Friday night here

Thanks again....

Are you saying the image in the lens is a reflection of the room? If so, the photographer was wearing a navy blue long sleeve t-shirt with no pattern or print. I'm waiting for the photographer (my friend) to email me a photo of the room the pic was taken in. This may help clarify some of your speculations.

Was he there in the room alone? Back to the drawing board if he was not. See if the room has badly peeling light colored paint over a dark surface underneath.

I know he was alone, and I'm 99.9% sure there is no paint peeling off the walls. It's an old building but it has been renovated/painted before they moved in (it's a brownstone)

OK, back to the drawing board

Good idea for a post. This teaches how easy it is for people to see many different things in an image.

I have no idea as to what the image in the optiloupe is.Or how it got there.
But I have been enjoying reading all the speculation.

I do know precisely what the optiloupe is. In case anyone cares, It is an attachment lens to The
Optivisor. It has a 2.5X magnification factor it is about 1" diameter, and if you are wearing it around the house
your kids will tell you that you really look nerdy....Guilty. ha ha.

Just thought you might like to see what it looks like attached to the optivisor.

Some excellent imaginations about this, You guys should be writers, if you are not already.

Carry on

Peace

Edit to add:
The reflection in this picture is Zeptepi with his hood pulled over his head, right after he broke his stick

OK, my artistic version. A painting of a ranch style home on a shoreline with woods behind and a large crack in the sky.

OK, imagine this. You are in a car driving down the road and you take a pic of the car and lake behind you by focusing on the side mirror. The white at the bottom is a distortion of the drivers image. Just my two cents.
