What if there are species of Giant Squid that exist in deep waters, evolved to some sort of higher intelligence (similar to that of Overlords from Starcraft), could they have the means to fabricate materials in their environment?

There are many types of primates in existence, of all sizes and arguably intelligences - an equal or possibly higher number of squid or octopus species dwell in the entirety of the oceans, perhaps an evolved cephalopod species exists?

Plus it looks like they have illithid mindflayer heads. - telepathy as a means of communication?

Nice try for the 'Craziest thread title Ever' prize!

What if Giant Squid evolved into alien looking, elbow bending, Sentient, creatures?

....and then left the water and crept onto land, using us as the most abundant food source? Kill them all now I say, before it's too late.
