I just let my female beagle in from outside a few minutes ago. When she came in she was running around the house, from room to room, whining. I checked her over and nothing seems to be wrong with her. Also...a little bit later I seen a bright light flash in the sky, almost like lightning, but no bolt. Weird. I live in Southern Indiana.

Back in the late 80's there was a man that predicted an earthquake. He said that part of his prediction method was to watch the daily want ads to see how many people were reporting lost pets. Has anyone's pets ran off lately?

We live in a rather upscale neighborhood and never see loose pets, until this week. I have seen 3 dogs loose with tags on.

I live in North Carolina and last week there was a huge flock of Buzzards here too. There had to be at least a hundred. It's not uncommon to see them here, but I've never seen them in such quantity. It was nuts. It was like the sky was dark with them and then they landed in the trees around. Our leaves are pretty much gone but when the birds were in them, they looked full. So far that's the only thing I've noticed.

UPDATE

Due to the information that wells have run dry in Arkansas - and that being a 'REAL' precursor to Earthquakes - that even the U.S. recognizes, I have emailed the "Head" of the U.S. Geology Earthquake division, this morning. (I emailed the head and the person under him - to make sure someone gets the info)

I asked them to Please look into the matter of wells running dry in Arkansas immediately!

I will let you know - any information I get from them and what they say when they (hopefully) contact me back.

In Orange County, CA. there were swarms of birds before dusk flying above the court house & city. The noise was so loud, it could be heard all the way inside the court house. Once outside, it was a crazy scene as one could barely talk to the person next to them.

Everyone on the streets was looking up at the massive swarm of birds.

Also they didn't sound normal, they all made a screeching sound that sounds like a rake on asphalt.

Weird.. Anyone else in Southern Cali?

I had a stray dog show up at my home yesterday here in NC. Has a collar and a very sweet demeanor. Funny thing is, he doesn't want to seem to leave my house now. Big search for the owner tomorrow!

Well I have two odd things to add. I live near Memphis, TN and the MS River. This morning my husband calls from the car to tell me to look outside at the clouds. They all appeared to look alike. They all looked similiar to a Nike swoosh and they overlapped and covered the sky.

The other issue which was more disturbing was a goose tried to land on the expressway today. I was on the interstate and saw this large goose by itself coming closer toward the road. I watched and assumed it was going to swoop back up but it did not! It was extremely close to shaving its own head off across my windshield. I felt really sorry for it. It barely made it to the side of the interstate and was obviously sick and disoriented. It was odd though.

It is amazing how many post in the same geographical line - is stating how (especially) birds and other animals are acting confused right now!

Cloud formations seem to be odd in these areas too.

I am very serious, when I say - it seems there is information coming out - especially with wells that have run dry in Arkansas -- I have felt there is enough information coming out of this forum - that authorties need to get involved.

Please see my update this morning, as I am contacting all the authorities right now - that should be aware of these various things - so they can look into them, immediately!

My contacting these various people - is not an over reaction - this is taking steps - for people who are knowledgable to take the information given so far in these posts and decipher it.

I am VERY concerned now - with the fact water has run dry in Arkansas -and another area water has risen (I have not been able to get that person's location yet - they posted on the other thread) - (that is not just an 'subjective' view of something - that is a tanngible view - a reality - a 'REAL' observation and fact - which authorities can not argue against!

I will keep all informed - but authorities - need to act on this information - Immediately, from my point of view.

Very interesting thread.

I have been reading and watching this thread, keeping an open mind. I have lived all over the US and have been a part of some very extreme weather over the years. Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Blizzards. One thing I have never been witness to is an earthquake.

So today I am at work and going about my day. I was reading over a book, that I had on a counter in front of me. When for the first time ever, I felt a mild shaking. Now I have been working in this area for a little over 4 months now and never have a felt anything shake while I was at work.

There is a railroad close by and I stepped outside to see if maybe a train was going by, no such luck. I have no idea what it was or what caused it. It was nothing extreme, I never would have felt it if my hands were not on the counter. It was very very mild, but the counter was shaking.

I am not saying it was an earthquake or a tremor or anything like that, just that it was odd.

Would like to know where you are located?

It would be very helpful to know. Thank you

There is little the authorities can do, since earthquake prediction is such an inexact science. All that can really be done is make people in earthquake prone areas aware that there is an increased possiblity based on our limited knowledge.
The public's response? They will go about their daily business, most of them ignoring the warnings, and then cursing the government for not coming to their rescue.
I, for one, am stocking up on food that we can either cook or eat cold. I'm well stocked, but I'm trying to stay ahead of the game.
I had thought I might be able to hunt, but it would appear that all the small game has deserted us. And since I'm sitting on top of the New Madrid fault, in Northeast Arkansas, I'm just trying to stay on my toes and take care of my family.

After the water levels being mentioned, I decided to do a little bit of looking around. The site below allows you to track real-time water date for the nation, as well as individual counties in each state;

nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov...

Also, the following address allows you to view a map of all the counties in a particular state. I imagine certain counties closer to fault lines might have more indicative water behavior, typical of impending quakes. I've provided this link to help with the link above;

county-map.digital-topo-maps.com...

Hope this helps out in following the water levels.

I live in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This is deer hunting season and I hear lots of stories ever year.
At my work I see lots of patients and the stories this year are " We didn't get a deer...we didn't even see any !"
I have heard this over and over again.
The area would be Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin.
And also...where are all my winter birds???

Would like to add....This is chemtrail area big time !

Thank you for this excellent information - I am going to look over the sites now.

It is wonderful (in my opinion) that people are coming together and providing very good sites and information - so others can research and learn about things to look for.

Because the truth is, the world has been going crazy with earthquakes this year, by doing this study 'experiment' we (I believe) will keep coming up with useful information that will help now and in the future.

I want to say Thank you again, I have looked at the water table data, there is a 'real' line of low water that extends from the great lakes through Indiana - down and through Texas. There is a pattern to it, too.

It seems odd, especially since Texas, got an abnormal amount of rain earlier this year - with flooding. Along with the upper states receiving huge amounts of rain this year. The pattern along the smokey mountains (where I am) is there - but I can understand that, as we have had a lack of rain this year, so I have discounted the lack around here the map shows.

Everyone - take a look at the website provided by OllyOllyOxen - you will see an actual pattern - in zig zag - but still straight line down.

Any computer experts out there - would you be able to overlay this pattern of low water etc. to the map of the New Madrid fault?

earthquake prediction experiment

this Thread was started back in may of 08, after the swarm of earthquakes were hitting the verdi/mogul area of reno. We had over 5000 quakes over a long many month period, and the quakes have startyed up again in the last few weeks....nowhere near the frequency of before, but we all noticed lots of "activity" or "signs", our thread is still ongoin, and with this one now going strong, we might be able to peace together a lot of mysteries.
We have noticed also that a LOT of quakes are either not listed, or removed shortly after (screen shots prove they "were" there"

keep an open eye upon the world around you and you will find the answers you seek.

I am very, very concerned now after reading your post on water wells running dry. I wasn't too concerned with strapping my water heater down until I saw this. Our water heater is in the attic. I talked to my husband about this and he doesn't understand what the point would be in strapping it down if the roof came down anyway. I told him it is better to be safe than sorry and it could save our lives. Still working on trying to convince him. I may have to do it myself

Getting back to the water well subject, I may have missed this, but how long has this been going on? Is this in recent days or over the past couple of years? If it is in the last few days, all I can say is Oh Crap! I know that when I lived in Alaska I had old timers tell me their stories about the '64 great Earthquake. They said the quake was so powerful that it actually caused water wells levels to fluctuate in Louisiana during the quake. Now that is scary...

From my understanding it has just begun happening over a short amount of time and all at once - I am going to try and verify that information.

I have a u2u out to the poster, if need be, I will look up some well businesses and call them in Arkansas.

I live in Oklahoma, and 2 days ago (Tuesday) we had a 2.7 tremor, felt in around a 30 mile radius. It was in the Oklahoma City area (very center of the state) and I've only heard of them in more southern parts of the state. I've lived here all my life and this was the first one that I actually "experienced". I felt a slight rumble and my power surged, didn't think anything unusual about it, until the next day. It was all over the news, and the local geogrphical survey wanted people to report anything they observed or felt. As for animals, I don't have any at my house (save for the few dozen field mice that have taken shelter from the cold in my garage, I live on about 170 acres) so I couldn't observe any strange behaviour.
