Well, I for one posses more than enough ability to think for myself, and I do appreciate that the OP is trying to simply put the word out there.

I, for one already have supplies put back in case of emergency, and I see absolutely no harm in being ready. It is a fact that New Madrid has a fault, has a history of destructive earthquakes, and is overdue for another big one, from what I understand, so I don't see a problem in someone trying to make others aware of what may happen.

I see no one here succumbing to fear and freaking out. I guess I could be wrong, but all I've seen on the earthquake threads is folks reporting their observations and discussing.

I don't see why anyone around here would get such a hair about what the op has done here.

I'd rather be prepared and have nothing happen than to be caught with my pants down around my ankles.

I have been following all 3 of Questioningall's post for a while now. I am doing so mostly out of curiousity and a lil knowledge. If in fact something happens then the thread on animal behavior should open some eyes. If not then "no harm, no foul" I say. What is really starting to irritate me is seeing people berate her for posting information. Acusing her of making a prediction when in fact it is the web bot's prediction. What does it matter anyway? They are posted in ......quess what...the prophecies and prediction forums! Suprise, surprise! She is Not fear mongering nor should she be labled as a "hoaxer" if nothing happens. She should not have to appologize if the EQs don't happen. She is mearly gathering and passing on information. That is it.
The personal attacks really should stop now as it is drawing away from the original topics in each of the 3 threads.
Remember this is the prophecies and predictions section. It is here for this purpose and yet people are still attacking posters for making prophecies or passing on predictions. That seems to defeat the purpose of even having this section. If all people want is to hear goody tooshy predictions then please go read your horoscopes out of the local paper.
Remember that ultimately you made the decision to click on this thread and read it. If you have contradictiong points to make then please...for all of our sakes...make them. BUT make them in a polite matter without personally attacking others. It is uncalled for and unwarranted.
Oh and I do live in the effected area of the midwest. I am not scared or worried. I am interested to see if anything comes out of this prediction to see whether or not there is any credense to the whole web bot thing or the animal behaviors. I actually appluade her for going out and starting these threads.
The more info the better I say. Even those opposing viewpoints as long as they are made in a polite matter without all the attacks.
Just my viewpoint but I am sure it is shared by many others that won't speak up!
Keep up the good work everyone and lets keep an eye out these next few days!
Keep Safe!

You are so right, and you could not have put it better.

Why some people are completely attacking not just me, but others who are posting is on the threads is unbelievable!

The level of attacks are getting out of hand - and gormly trying to distrupt the thread by posting the same thing over and over 18 times as a post-- is childish.

There are so many "alternative" threads on ATS, about dire predictions, why is it, this one is getting such hateful postings?

The personal attacks should cease from all posters and the ones who think the threads I have done are horrible and despicable..... we have heard your voices. We understand you are totally against all of my threads.

Before for or against this - lets debate it as adults and stop the threats and hateful postings.

So do you apologize to the boards now, or should we wait another hour or so?

Oh please, stop trying to make out he did that intentionally, the forum posting screwed like it has done plenty times in the past where you click post and it posts multiple instances of the same post I'm sure gormly has better things to do than to spam your threads.

First off they are not hateful postings, but as usual being an alarmist you will blow things out of proportion so it's to be expected.

Secondly you have made absurd claims that these web bots are truely effective at predictions yet despite being asked on numerous occasions, you refuse to back up these claims with substantial evidence added to the fact that you are freely advertising a company which makes money from these so called predictions

Anyone can easily access the Webbot guy's daily blogs for free:

www.urbansurvival.com...

Doesn't anybody actually read threads without jumping into debunking mode? Nothing to debunk here - it is a discussion about the webbot project's latest prediction, that's all. If you don't want to participate, then why are you in the thread at all? There are lots and lots and lots of other threads you could be reading!

Yet another person that doesn't have a clue as to the time frame.

Keep up the good work.

Why propagate the negativity? Just acknowledge that there are those types and personalities and brush it off. Stay positive and enlightened.

A rude poster is like a rude child. They just want attention. The best way to deal with that is to ignore them.

No offense intended toward anyone.

?
Hold on.
Let me check my math.
1+10=11.
Now, this was first posted on the...First?
And today is...No, don't tell me...Today is the, eleventh?
If my math all adds up- That seems to be ten days.

What's left to defend?
There was no Earth quake.
You people should be happy he was wrong- Not bitterly defending the "Ten day, give or take" theory.

You must've been a mathlete VelmaLu, keep up the good work.

The following is a quote from the very first paragraph of the OP.

Today being Dec. 1st - there are only 10 days left until the time frame of Dec. 10 -15th of 2 Huge (maybe biggest ever) Earthquakes to hit the U.S. and then somewhere else in the world.

So while 10 +1 = 11, the very first post clearly says 10 day until the time frame not 10 days till there are earthquakes, not an earthquake will hit on the 11th, but 10 days till the time frame.

I have been following all of the EQ/web bot threads and have even posted a couple of observations and some info on the subject of the new madrid fault line. I have yet to run across anyone on here that is freaking out, scared and whimpering in the corner. Where are all of these scared out of their mind people? I guess they are too scared to leave from under their sturdy tables to post here. I see no fear mongering at all. I see just level-headed sharing of ideas, information and observation. After all I thought that was what ATS was all about?? I hope that these next few days will pass without incident. But, it is really good to be prepared and informed. What is wrong with that?

I was one of the ones that said the three threads amounted to fear mongering particularily given the alarmist titles. I was one of the ones who was going to have to travel later this month and questioning if I should seek routs around bridges and stay clear of cities etc. I guess it is not this thread or any of the posters but the webbot and the people behind that that really get my goat. Their "science" is completely unscientific. Anyone trained in science can see that and those who haven't been are being fooled.

We do face the possibilities of major quakes and super volcanoes but we have faced that since the day we were born. I am naturally inclined to anxiety and the like, which are irrational feelings, and I have now looked at the "evidence" and decided I should not change my plans due to a earthquake prediction. I will still avoid spending too much time in the big cities because they make me nervous for other reasons.

I wonder what the Princeton EGGS are reading at the time, or rather what would they read under such circumstances?

They consistently read 'subspace' variations before natural AND Un-natural events. That is a proven fact that science cannot explain; for all those by the book hardcore 'objective' scientists out there. Anyone keeping up to date with this?

Thanks for posting this, it shows how this thing works.

On August 2 the reference was to between 32 and 37 degrees north latitude, near some "hyper spatial/sacred geometry point".

On August 8 it had changed to 32 to 36 degrees latitude, with several large storms, and the flood was somehow connected to the US or Western Europe.

Could it be that after the first prediction, as the web-bot was gathering data and people started discussing it, it started picking data about people that were concerned about this possible event, changing the prediction according to the ones that were most frightened or preoccupied with it (like people on this thread that posted something like "I am in XXXXXX", so that place started getting mixed with the prediction).

And I am not yet convinced about the web-bot accuracy on natural events.

I'm sure you'll be very quick to post your apology since the OP's first paragraph points out it is a range of dates starting on 12/10.

Instead of an apology, why not go back and actually read the thread? Seriously. You keep responding to me without knowing what you're talking about and digging the hole deeper.

People keep referring to this as a "prophecy" It is NOT a prophecy - it is a prediction from a computer that picks up our language on the internet.
It's not exactly that, the prediction is in the way the people interpret the words the web-bot selects from those that it found.

And I would like to know why some words are inside parenthesis, does anyone know why?

This prediction did not come out of "thin air" either - it came from a proven computer program - which from my understanding "China" even uses a similar type one.
Maybe, as far as we know, the predictions may be made by someone living on a cave in the middle of nowhere.

This is an interesting post. It is long believed (and proven to many cultures) that thought has an effect on reality. It is proposed that group thought focused on any one thing is an extremely powerful tool.

There is a scientific study on this called the mass consciousness experiment. I believe Lynn Mctaggart talks about it.

The last experiment I remember was done over Coast to Coast radio. Millions of listeners were concentrating to try and end a drought somewhere (possibly desert location) and they ended up causing a flood.

Off topic, but wasn't Open BSD created by someone in their room with blinds drawn for around a year?

Good stuff comes out of "caves"

Really? Can you explain to us how the WebBot works and how it is 'unscientific'? I'd like to know. Also, what is your professional background?
