Your chances aren't that slim man. You should join clubs or go to events where you might have a better chance of meeting someone who shares your interests. There are these conventions and things like that, sci-fi conventions.

That might sound funny. But think about it, chicks who are into sci-fi are probably smart, interested in things beyond TV sitcoms, sports, etc. They would probably be very interesting people.

This is just an example to illustrate that there are probably things you can get involved in where you can meet girls who can relate to you.
