This just may be me being paranoid, but I have to ask. Has anyone in the medical field (hospital) noticed a large increase in the number of people
being admitted for intestinal bleeding?
Over the past week there has been a 10x increase of patients on 72 hour continuous infusion esomeprazole. Ninety or so percent of the time, reasons
are unknown and diagnoses are left blank.
A friend who works at a hospital a couple of counties away has said the same. If no one has noticed, anyone have any ideas why this would be happening
in a relatively localized area? I have spent about 4 hours looking for any mention of it online, but found nothing. Any input is appreciated.
