I was reading my newspaper today, and there was an article about the height of mammals.
Now then, apparently, the worlds shortest horse is 4.7 times smaller than the worlds biggest one.
The same can be said for people, the tallest of which, at eight foot eleven inches tall, is bigger than the smallest person, at about twenty three
inches tall, by about 4.7 times.
I was just wondering, you know, if this statistic was a coincidence, or, if all types of mammals varied in size extremes from tall to short by a
factor of approximately 4.7 ?
Thoughts ...?
