Show Us Your Kitties!

Yes folks, it's time to show us your furry friends.

I've just been creating my annual calendar which I usually give as Xmas pressies for family and friends and I thought I'd give members an introduction to my best friends which are featured again in my annual gift along with scenery and pics of my house and garden....my three beautiful kitties.

Duke & Princess who are brother and sister and Squidge who is Princesses daughter. Her father was a big ginger tom from the neigbourhood but "Uncle Duke" played his part in bringing her up.

I Love them all and they Love me too. They're happy, healthy and have a wonderful life here at my old farmhouse. Plenty of mice and bugs to chase around this ramshackled place and free reign over the surrounding vines.

Princess is just soooo cute, always talking and full of life. She loves company and will commondeer any lap going!

Duke is really Big, very lazy and can purr for days. Very chilled out.

Squidge was the only kitten that Princess gave birth to. Very unexpected. I was on the computer one evening and turned round and there she was!
She has tha SHARPEST claws of the three and can be quite a "scaredy cat" and timid at times. She has her affectionate moments though which are quite special, she'll bury her head in my arms and "squeak".....Cute.

To all interested people!! My cat Mike was inhabited by the soul a WWI German Ace and from time to time he likes to pretend that he back in the cockpit flying missions over France..Now on a lighter note my girlfriend, I guess you can call her that, we will see after Christmas if I will still be with her, decided that while we were decorating the Christmas tree she would put some of the ribbon on the cat and make him look like it was a scarf..Thats my story and Im sticking to it!!!

Heres my 2 kitties. Patches is on the left, we saved her from the wilds as she was a stray. She was skin and bones when we brought her in but she's doing great now. Always greets me when I come home from work thinking that I brought chicken home, which I usually do (I work at a KFC).

Tank, on the right, on the other hand, is a cat we saved from a shelter a day before he was to be put down. Beautiful Norwegian Forest cat he is, full of spunk and he likes to talk. Weighs about 20-25 pounds, he's a big fella. A big light in my life. He's claimed me as HIS human so to speak. He has a weird quirk where he'll get in a weird mood and go around licking random thing, from tool boxes, TV remotes, walls, plants, etc. He's such and awesome cat, he puts the "purrrr" in perfection.

i am possed by two wonderful cats, both boys

this is billy
he is 5 years old, born in may
a very shy timied little boy, who is frightend by singing voices, coughing, or sneezing, but who is able to stand the vaccum.
i met billy when he was 5 hours old and he came to my house when he was 8 weeks old
he is the one who is able to play just of his own






sunny is the younger one, he became 2 in july.
somebody who needs a lot of attention
he is not afraid, only the vaccum causes problems to him
sunny is somebody who is yelling most of the day, and pretends to be the boss
met him with 13 weeks of age, he decided that he wanted to stay with us


he loves to lay in an ikea-hanger

this is scasi † he died nearly 3 years ago
i met him when he was 2 days old and his mom didn.t care for him anymore when he was 5 weeks old, had to nurse him with a bottle for another 5 weeks
scasi became only 11 years


all your kittys are adorable.
i love dogs to, but cats are so self-reliant, they know what they want and act like that

Yay, I love my cats!!

The first one is named Mamacat. She is about 18 years old – I adopted her 7 years ago from a friend who couldn't keep her. She is the sweetest cat ever, but I'm afraid I don't have too much more time with her.



This one is Skylar. She's about 7, and was also adopted from a friend, before she had to go into the hospital for a while. The picture is a webcam pic from a recent Sunday afternoon taken for the "pictures of members" thread:

This is Little Miss.......she's 15 now. She has mild kidney disease but is doing well. She follows me everywhere and is still pretty active.

On a more serious note, I only like one cat and one cat only. His name's cloud and he belongs to a friend of mine. He's pretty cool. The rest of his other cats, and cats in general I just can't stand.

I have two cats, well the daughters each have one. I am ok with them. One is named Lucky, since she was found by the side of the road as a kitten and we figure she was lucky she wasn't hit by a car.

The other is named Raisin by my husband..and to know why just lift the tail of your cat and have a look......what does it look like...a raisin. u2u me if you don't get it.
