Belgium: Broadcasters receive video terror threat
Update: Dutch TV show Netwerk also got the same DVD. According to analysis, the video itself seems to have been montaged together from an existing clip. The Belgian Muslim community condemns the video and says it casts a stain on the Muslims in Belgium.

I think this video is fake. What do you guys think?

Almost Christmas... last year we had also a terrosism threat (view link).

Don't know what to think. Small country like ours, on the other hand we have Brussels which has a majar 'Europea Centre' but nothing 'major' has hapenned yet.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Anyone else (from Belgium/Holland) have some ideas on this video threat?

you know what,most of what al qaeda(or those pretending to be al qaeda possibly in this case) seem to do nowadays is a psycholigical warfare,scaring us with threats and intimidation,akin to how the ais behave,you know....niburus gonna wipe you all out,theres gonna be an alien invasion and so on.
similiarly composed psychological warfare campaigns.
what did wauner von braun say....first there will be rougue states,then terrorists,comets and then aliens,and it will all be a lie....indeed.....those ais are attacking our minds,look for the trends,similarities in the patterns of the world...its all distraction like the pseudo alien campaign to hide future ai presence here....so we dont realise whats going on...who is really killing us.

For the love of God, put a space after commas! That was so hard to read... Back to the OP. The rifle looks fake to me. I think the video is fake as well. I thought that Al Qaeda was against music or something like that as well.

I believe that the Taliban regime in Afghanistan outlawed music in public. I am not entirely sure about that however.

A lot of independant Islamic militant propaganda videos are set to 'Middle Eastern' style music however.

The CIA wouldn't do a poor job like this. Probably a bunch of local Muslims just pissed about Belgium support of NATO in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda has already threaten Europe anyways.

It was the headline again in the evening news... Probably because it's the first time we (Belgians) get that specific threats from moslim extremists (if they are of course) in a video.

I was pretty surprised that is was the number one news again. It's getting too much attention. I bet a lot of bomb scares will follow the next days...
So they'll probably succeed in their psychological warfare like weliveforthesun wrote.

I think it will be also interesting how the extreme right movements like Vlaams Belang (in some cities up to 40 % voters) will react... Also keeping in mind we have a very large moslim community... Maybe things will heat up???

And yes, Al Qaeda threaten Europe numerous times... and succeeded (London, Madrid).
Brussels might be an excellent target (a bit seen as the center of the European community) with lots of interesting targets for terrorists including lots of NATO buildings, a metro, ...

Anyway, I won't let my sleep for it

I mean if you're gonna rally new supporters.....why not with fear. Works for most other political parties......

By the way : Dutch news progam "network" also received a copy of this DVD.....It was on the news here aswell..
