amazing story ! thanks for posting

i believe her, the descriptions of the lights out side the window are very similar to what i experienced and even though i didn't see any E.T.'s like she did , i was white as a ghost like the guy that went out side for the pack of smokes.

also what's amazing is this is one of the few news reports that didn't seem to have a giggle factor.

time to wake up people, babies are being taken from many women. hundreds or more women have come forward with the same story.

the part I liked about it was the fact that she had her own dustings of finger prints. I would love to see what would happen if a scientist were to get a hold of those.

Also, it astounds me why UFO research groups don't find people who are repeatedly having abductions and spend a couple of weeks with them to document it. There are shows like UFO Hunters who follow stories after the story is over. Why not go after a story before it happens so it can be scientifically documented in a way that does not allow for a large amount of ambiguity.

They do not do it because it is neither economic or feasable to do it. Incidents might happen days apart, or they may happen months or years apart. Spending a couple of weeks may not prove anything.

And if extraterrestrials are driving this phenomenon (though I am skeptical of that...big surprise, I know), they seem to be going to great pains to keep their activities hidden. If investigators were to stay with an abductee in hopes of documenting something, the extraterrestrials would be sure to avoid that abductee until the investigators were gone.

Even though i want to believe her, i highly doubt that those stories are true.

1. The paintings: The Aliens wear nice hoodie uniforms with belts. Seems to me like StarTrek and other Science Fiction movies. In the next painting the Alien looks exactly like the stereotype of all Aliens. Head, insect eyes, body proportions you know what i mean.

2. How they talk to her: Why in the world would an Alien care about her Name? If she were the president.. okay, but she seems to be not such as important for them. Monoton voice.. another stereotype. I would believe her more if she said that they talked to her in a high voice with russian accent. "It´s your time to come" widley known phrase from people seeing angels before death, absolutely human origin.

So she stated she knows what happend while she was abducted, why not tell us? Medical examinations? What exactly? Examinations = stereotype. I don't think aliens with this technology need to abduct and examine hundreds of human each year. They should at least be able to clone us.

Men In Black? I think I don't have to say something about this point. When theres an institution like MIB, what i would like to believe, they would be just smart enough to not wear the black suits.

They took her child? We need more information on this. Was she really pregnant? Was there a miscarriage or did the unborn just disappear at night? If she was pregnant someone might wanna dig some holes in the backyard.

The ship took off with a wooowoowooo? Stereotype big time. If you ask a 8 year old what sound an UFO makes, you would hear exactly that sound.

Just my thoughts on this.

seems to me like you do believe but your asking questions because you simply want more information..

www.capturingthelightdvd.com the story of dorothy izatt which for me is much more interesting. if you need to hear about abduction from more than one soft lovable old lady, try her.

Thanks for the link. I will definitely read it when theres time.

I would like to believe, but there are too many things which seem to be "abducted" from other stories. Just too many widely known pretences according to my taste . If there's one new breathtaking incident, I'll be the first in line to buy the story. If you met an alien wouldn't you have any more detailed info on its behavior and looks?

i respect your skeptisism greatly you know this, ive never attacked you either.

but my question to you is, why get hung up about the hidden factor, if this is the way they want to be then so be it.

what happenes when you simply hold this lady's case in your mind WITHOUT any extra questioning.. im not asking you to go either way, but to simply observe everything she just mentioned from a distance.

for me theres no questions except for those which relate to being in the presense of one of these gangly tall dudes. what human emotions surface etc. im questioning so that i can move foward.

deductive reasoning concludes that based on the age of this woman, and what she was told "you will help others as these sightings become known to everyone" tells me that since im 26 i could be in store for alien presence in my near future.

i see what you mean by 'abducted' from other stories. however, barney and betty hill where the first documented case and their story lies close to them as well. the fact that millions claim to have been abducted and there seems to be a huge common thread is an indication that there IS something there. many hypnotists will say this.

and believe you me, if a new far out in left field abduction story were to hit, you would most likely NOT come close to giving it the time of day.

hey I followed the link to the news station and posted a comment which is located on the same page on the bottom right, saying that i thought it was really nice for them not to label Mrs. Nelms a weirdo or a giggle at her.

I then told them about the million fax on washington movement which is going on in order to send 1 million letters to Obama

if you liked the fact that they supported abduction accounts i suggest you take 3 minutes to click the link that you so nicely provided and do the same.

You misunderstand. I was answering a question as to why investigators don't just camp out at someone's home and wait for an abduction to happen.

ooooohhh my bad, you mean like they did with dorothy izatt!? got it..
and im sure you already know this, they did catch it (not an abduction) outside the home, sent the video to industrial light and magic (who is working on transformers 2 yipee) and they agreed it was real footage..

but not every news camera man has enough testicular fortitude to wait for such an event.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

Courage has nothing to do with. Economics and feasibility are the issue. They could spend days, weeks, or months there and never prove a thing. The nature of this particular phenomenon does not lend itself to empirical evidence. If the claims about Dorothy Izatt are accurate (I can't say if I believe or not, because I have not examined that case), that would be an exception to the rule.

I'm a soft, lovable old lady.....well,okay I'm not soft and lovable but I am an old lady and I have no reason not to believe her.

There are many right here at ATS that have been with beings myself included but most don't write about it because of the way they have been belittled here.

Life is not what you have been taught but maybe it is best if people continue as they are because I don't think they are ready there is still to much ying and yang
here..... know what I mean.

I don't see why her story involving sterotypes should automatically rule out the chance her story is real. Why do you think there are sterotypes? because just like myth's, there is some truth behind them. Im not saying your wrong, or attacking your opinion on the matter. Im just saying, that maybe aliens, have rules and regulations they follow when doing "routine" abductions. Just like doctors follow certain procedures before surgery.

I would have to say this women is telling the truth.

The detail, her demeanor, and whole attitude is one of a person telling the truth.

This one gets starred and flagged. Nice find. Thanks

People that have visions of the Virgin Mary also say similar things... they "feel" it so much it's basically true to them.

Heh, jeez I've heard better stories. Look at her, she even appears weird...

Everything she stated sounds like a human "simple" imagination. Everything she said, could have been said the same exact way in 1485...

There is absolutely no imagination in her story at all. Just simple explanations, because SHE is a simple person. Now show me a simple person with some detailed account, such as what did the tools look like, or what did you smell on board the "mother ship"? Were you offered any food? Water? Did you observe them doing anything, like working controls, working on other people, moving around Communicating with each other? What did the lighting look like? What did you hear "mechanically on board the ship"? What was the temperature on the ship? Cold? Hot? Humid?

Oh and she is going to go into the backyard and approach something from another world that is standing there "scanning" it's surroundings? lol

The UFO travels and Navigates hundreds of Billions of Light Years? And it can't manuever around a few tree limbs? She added that bit to be dramatic... But I doubt an Alien ship would have that difficult a time moving around.

Yeah right, you've got to be kidding me... Also the fact that she has a vocal conversation is the end of it all... An advanced Alien race is going to send it's Captain or whatever down to talk to "Jane" and have a dialog? I think it would have a better chance comunicating with a tree stump...

I rate this story as Bogus.

I agree with you. But why would an Alien Race care about the President's name either? That take me to your leader garbage is just for the movies... lol

It's Human arrogance and ignorance that makes US the center of the Universe...

As a scientist stated when Aliens show up at Earth, they would just take over... My world died and I need your world now, extermination time...

That's life if you ask me, you just can't have it all can you? I'm an engineer and in every design, there's always a 'trade off', 'compromise' so to say.

I could give you tons of examples of man-made wonder machines that's spectacular in one area, and fails in another.

I've read that flying saucers(sorry can't find the link, it was a long time ago) can't fly like conventional aircraft can. They don't make smooth turns, but rather violent sharp angle turns, it's all because of their very unique propulsion system that probably no one here has idea how it works.

Also some trees are capable of conducting 'mystic energies' strongly. If their craft is powered by one, one wrong move and they could lose energy in a flash and crash. And if the tree is 'harmless' why bother to move circuitously around, wasting time, when you can blast through since your craft is strongly built for it
