Is there any way to protect an article from outside spam that would still allow established users to edit the article ?
I've run up against this a few times now, and then I sit and watch the Mods spending most of their time deleting spam.
All that time spent reverting articles could be better spent improving the Wiki.
I've suggested limiting it only to members of ATS in the past, and I'd also go for having members register to tinWiki before being able to edit.
You start screwing around and you're out.....
Some might argue that a Wiki should be open to anyone with any information to share, and it should be if they're presenting factual information. But
there also needs to be some control over content and spam.
