I know several people (Including myself.) who have decently large 'lumps' on thier heads. They both have something that feels like cracks in the middle. When we felt them, we noticed two even smaller bumps, these felt like small cylinders. I think those may have been blood vessels or something. But that would make no sense, because they don't have any extensions. Ofcourse
, pain is felt if you press them hard enough in certain areas.

If anyone has these or has any theories on what they might be then please post them.

I think my Dad was an Alien, when I was a kid and he found out I did something bad, I would wakeup with lumps on my head.

Pretty funny post. I have the lumps too, because of this I've always known I don't have the option of shaving my head. Not Yul Brynner, Kojack (Telly Savalas), or Jay Buhner (ex Seattle Mariner).

I think its just a genetic difference like non-attached ear lobes/ attached ear lobes. Other than freaking out a girlfriend one time I don't think it means much.

I only have one lump on the back of my head and its kind of sharp, I would have my friends feel it and then tell them its an alien implant lol

This "protrusion" you are referring to is known as the External Occipital Protuberance. It is a natural part of the human skull, and is found in all humans. However, some people's skulls form differently over time, and this can cause this portion of the skull to become larger (i.e. Your EOP might be slightly larger than mine).

It is definitely not an artificial implanted section. Here is a link for some helpful information concerning this subject.

Good job... You've just made me realize one more thing that I don't have

ok, I don't have the job of my dreams/
I don't have a car
I don't have enough money
and I DON'T HAVE A LUMP.

Oh God why?????

*Seriously now... this is totally normal//just different
skull shapes...

First of all an implant is under the skin, not in the skull.
Second of all, Do the bumps match up proportionately to your mommas thigh high strap buckles or your daddys studded leather bucknife holder. This info could be important to determine a just cause.

dude....those bumps are just the areas where ur skull fused together during devlopment. when ur born, ur skull is mostly cartilage with some bone in places here and there. this allows easier childbirth. when u grow, so do the skull pieces. so, they eventually meet each other at a certain point and fuse together. when they're done, it leaves behind a bump. if u've looked at a human skull, u'll know what i'm talking about. on the top of the head, there's a "y" shaped bump. that was where the skull fused. it's nothing special

I've noticed the "bump" on the back of my head since i was younger. When I use to shave/buzz my head, they'd (my friends) call it, the "knob"

I've noticed few people have one as large as mine, but none the less, it's still fun when I go to ABC Hair Cut place, and the new girl is all suprisied about this, "bump on the back of your [my] head."

Nice to see im not the only one with the big knob.

ps. people with big knobs are smarter.

Yeah i noticed that once when i woke up after a big night drinking and found myself hairless... apparantly i authorised for my head to be shaved (at the begginning of winter mind you), it sounds like something i would do,...

But back on topic, this is quite normal and i dont see why it is in Military/Gov Projects... Chit chat in BTS maybe
