Propaganda Can Be Deadly

Thanks for the post. I checked out the articles that were on the website and found them most useful. This type of propaganda even goes on now a days and should be combatted at every turn.

The Jehovah's Witnesses do not engage in propaganda (like the website says). Two of them told me so just last Sunday. Unfortunately I was busy and couldn't find the time to talk to them about it.

Shouldn't this be in the Religion forum?

Meh. Couldn't you find a better link to throw in there? Isn't this a moot post anyhow? Telling someone to be wary on here is pretty redundant, and not really worth posting.

But, whatever... at least you're trying to open up some minds.

90+% of what you hear in your daily life is propaganda.
from what the company you work for tells you to what you hear on TV.
very little is the truth and nothing but the truth.
the very best propaganda uses 90% truth with 10% propaganda slid into the story.

80% of the Internet is propaganda to shape the opinions of the people going to that site.

That link was nothing but tasteless propaganda designed to make me think that Hitler was a Jahova's Witness.

I don't buy it.

And if that were the case then now I think all JW's are Nazis.

That website seems very slanted towards Jehova's Witnesses.

do they use propaganda? I dunno, but they are strict interpretors of Biblical Law and its application in society.

Therefore, if you believe the Bible is propoganda, then yes, they do use propaganda (the good book does seem to fit the definition).

I must admit, in the past year, I have cleared the way of propogandic influence from my daily tasks.

I used to take everything said in the news/media as the truth. Now, I am a completely changed person, meaning I question what is being told to me and perform my own research.

All Governments and media use propaganda daily. Not much point trying to raise awareness to it, people have been exposed to so much of it since birth that it is now just normal to them.

That article itself contained propaganda too. Anyone else notice it?

Media is controlled. Period!

Even if you aware of propaganda, you cannot fight the "media circus", as i refer to it. It will envelope you. The only way to effectively fight this is to smate mainstream media from your life. I did so a number of years ago, seek alternate news, such as this website. Great to have found it.

I believe i understand propaganda, more so than most, being directly affected. I grew up in a country who`s integrity and image was completely and utterly destroyed by mainstream international media. South Africa.

Yes! Apartheid was fact, but to the degree in which my country was denigrated... absolute overkill, in order to ostracise it`s people from the international community, for others gain. It is becoming clear to me - i am still doing my research on this - that perhaps the NWO, by the use of mainstream, were attempting to destroy white unity which was a stumbling block to the control of vast mineral and gold reserves, as well the important strategic position of our country.

Free people from white suppression? what a laugh, as if they cared about people, this was just a rues for the real objectives of those who had the means and the power to control.

I totally agree with you. Propoganda is everywhere, especially mainstream media, which I completely block myself away from. Alternative news sites like this are also extremely helpful and more insightful then lets say CNN and Fox News.

I did sense propoganda in the very article as well. Maybe places like Antarctica have no propoganda, but I doubt it because people are there, scientists, I beleive, doing ice core studies..
