Huge dinosaur prints found

www.thesun.co.uk

THESE huge footprints are believed to from a dinosaur – which roamed the earth 144MILLION years ago.
Farmer Primo Rivera discovered the prints – which are thought to be twice as old as any found in the region before – in Bolivia, South America.

Not sure if they could be faked, see what you lot say about it dont really know much about dinosaurs or the date they were around, just thought i'd get it out for everyone to see. Would be nice to see some evidence of the actual dates of the prints to tell if they were from that period.
en.wikipedia.org... I looked at that and it says the jurassic period was 160 million years ago, so are these prints a real significance if they are found to be real?

Nice article, I would usually regard The Sun as a dodgey source but for things like this it can be fairly reliable (no big reason to hype this stuff up).

I met a man in a village in Spain who took us to look at some dinosaur prints he'd found. He was a precious stone and fossil collector and knew his stuff. The prints looked like really big bird prints. Anyway, he told some local authority thinking they would be pleased or something and they came down and smashed them up. The reason was to avoid unwanted tourism in the small mountain village.

Crazy.

Hehe, thats the first time I've heard of the sun being reliable. This is the same Sun that claimed a tooth of a great white had been washed up in (south wales I think)... they even had a great photo of it, so good you could plainly see the drill hole that was used to fashion it to a necklace
