I think mine would be a game that somehow incorporated dinosaurs. I don't think any game has ever really given dinosaurs the credit they deserve in terms of being able to make a really cool game. (Turock was alright). I'm still not sure if I would want a FPS or not though.

Have you ever tried Dino Crisis? It's also survival horror. It's ok- nothing exceptional about it but it was pretty decent. You're in a Jurassic Park like environment when the dinosaurs get out and you run around accomplishing different tasks and puzzles.

Hmmm.... my personal favorite would have to be a game where its interactive in a huge huge city, escaping monsters and zombies.

This isn't ideal but at least something like that exists- Resident Evil Outbreak has an interactive version where you can play with others. It involves all of the above. You're in a big down, working with other players, and fighting off the zombies who come infected from the outbreak. The only thing I didn't like about it is that instead of it having linear play, the game is divided up into different scenarios. But it was moderately enjoyable (although I only played it solo and never bothered with the interaction).

Well my perfect video game pretty much exists already... and that game my friends is Fable 2. Add about 20 hours more main story line game play, give me about five more cities, and quadruple the amount of explorable wilderness, and at least for me it doesn't get any better. Cheers.

I'd love to get some massive fantasy RPGs that I can play without signing up for twenty bucks a month or whatever to play it online. Unfortunately, the amount of time and effort and number of people that it takes to make such a game means that it's pretty much impossible to make a profit on it, even if it is a bestseller. But this is about the perfect dream game, so...

-something with a world so big that it would take years of real life gaming to explore
-something with so many enemies and items to fight that you'd be finding new things for years
-something with a dozen or so each of races and classes or more, and other character creation things like deity worshipped or some other sort of extra skills/powers so that there would be hundreds, if not thousands of combinations, allowing for basically infinite replayability and extensive character customization
-something I could play online, WoW-style, if I wanted to, but also play it solo on my own if I wanted to do that. (but keep the characters separate from single to multiplayer to prevent abuse) Think Diablo 1 or Unreal Tournament or something, games that you could play solo or online and have them be just as good either way
-something that is CHALLENGING, not this pansy stuff where you can save every 3 seconds and reload when something doesn't go your way. Once upon a time, gamers were real men... but that's another thread :p
-something with awesome graphics and sounds, naturally

My personal choice would be a fantasy RPG, but if someone did all of the above in just about any context, whether it be scifi or that cool Roman history idea another poster had, I'd be all over that, too. If you've ever read the Otherland series by Tad Williams, that game that Orlando plays in the virtual reality internet is pretty much what I'd want.

well i love command and conquer generals zero hour it is an awesome game.

however world in conflict is the bomb i think.

but you can build units. it gives you a certain amoutn of coin and you can only buy certain units. and you cannot create a massive army of units because you only get more points based on how many enemy kills you get or how many units you lose.

but the nukes and carpet bombs are awesome. plus it has this arena style quality to it wich is pretty cool as well.

supreme commander forged alliance is so stupid. i mean terrible it doesnt even look cool.

i mean it is stupid.
