Hi, I took this pic of the moon about 3 am yesterday morning whilst outside having a smoke (naughty me I know!).
I've never seen anything like this that I can remember - and I've been on this planet more years than I care to admit to. There were two layers of
cloud that the moon was shining through, and the lowest level had this bright orangey-brown edge to it. It was really quite spectacular.
I was just wondering whether any of you had seen this sort of effect before or if any of our weather bods can explain it.
