That was great! Good laugh - both parties were "calm" about the exchanges and the spider was great - I saw below the story a link to where the 7 legged version got the guy $15k!

A hand-drawn digital picture of a seven-legged spider which became the subject of a widespread viral email has reportedly sold for $15,000 on eBay.

LOL!!! Oh my god. That was hillarious

That was awesome. I'm going to be showing that to some friends, who no doubt will also find some laughs!!

"Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it."

I freaking DIED laughing.

Very amusing although i feel your missing the point. it is summed up in his last email:

" It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.
"

I think he is doing back to them twhat many service providers and banks do to us on a daily when they call you at inconvinient times thought the day to to push you into buying insurances ect. and bombard you with junk mail.

Here's an update

The guy apparently wont pay for the drawing, and ebay is threatening legal action over breaking a contract

Ah man, now I feel like an idiot. I first saw that email a week or so ago and thought it was funny but couldn't understand why he conceded so soon. Now I get it AND feel like a moron.
