Let's be honest here

I see hundreds of threads on this forum wildly accusing Obama of this and that. Maybe there is some truth, maybe there isn't, but no one ever gets the point. Rarely does someone say what they are truly afraid will happen once Obama takes office.

So, let's cut through the crap. Forget the whole birth certificate issue (or lack there of), forget his lapel, forget him not having a dog, forget it all.

What are you really afraid of? What is your true purpose for coming on ATS and posting over and over again about a man that has not even offended you yet?

I've heard a few say he will be like Hitler. There are a few threads open currently, but not most will brush it off as they "aren't saying he will be Hitler, he just reminds me of Hitler". So again, no one will get to the point.

What's the point? It drives me nuts. Yes, when Bush got elected in 2000, people were crying fraud. That's not what's happening here, people aren't crying fraud. What we have here is a desperate attempt to defame the man before he even takes office.

So, this is your chance. Tell us what you think, but not with mudslinging, or beating around the bush. Tell it to us straight.

Why are you so scared of Obama? What do you think will happen after he takes office?

That's not good enough for me. They need to do better than that.

We fear that he will start taking away our rights, mostly. i.e.:

1) Our right to bear arms against oppression and tyranny.

2) Our right to privacy, by not repealing the Patriot Acts, or reinstating the Posse Comtatus Act.

3) Instilling greater taxes.

4) Not prosecuting the Republican establishment for warcrimes or treason.

5) Further MISinterpreting our Constitution.

6) NOT disbanding the unconstitutional I.R.S. or FedRes, and NOT enforcing executive order 11110

7) Being generally manipulated by the financiers of governments (Central World Banks, who are murderous treasonous luciferian criminals)

8) Allowing gay-marriages (outrageously immoral and illogical), denying the rights of the unborn, and expanding public education regulation.

9) Diminishing the sovereignty and dignity of the States.

10) Allowing military secrets to continue, allowing microchipping to continue, allowing U.N. troops on U.S. soil, and allowing FEMA concentration camps (NWO/Fascist/Anti-Liberty)

In a nutshell, these are my main concerns about the guy. He's spineless, shameless, and corrupted by the same money that corrupted Bush. He is Clinton all over again. He is no Jack Kennedy.

I agree with RoknHrdcor with the exception of #8. What people do is not of my concern when it come to their personal lives. *snip* Just don't try to change my mind about my personal preferences or try to make my kids think that it is ok.

If they have the same fundamental beliefs, then yes. I think it is time for a true change and vote for someone in a third party. It is obvious that Dem/Rep pools of potential candidates is like fishing in a sewer.

As you know Irish, I support Obama. The thing that scares me about him, is depending on what he does. He would confirm the existance of the whole puppet is a President thing. That's what I'm afraid of.

I'm afraid he'll go back on his support for Net Neutrality. Not go far enough on reviewing Bush's executive orders, and only throw the red meat issues to placate those that label themselves Democrat(Stem Cell, teaching people in africa about condoms etc, all the non important stuff) And he'll just be a continued degradation of our Rights.

But I'm not the one starting all these silly threads so I shouldn't be responding. =p

Honestly... I have this horrible feeling of him getting shot, and riots and Martial Law soon follow afterwards.

That's what scares me.

My fear is that he is going to break his promises and raise taxes on those of us who make below $250,000. Most middle class families I know are barely getting by and a tax increase will be the last straw for many in this situation. I'm also a little worried about increased taxes and windfall profit penalties on our corporations. We already have close to the highest corporate tax rate in the world and raising it more is just going to drive businesses away. I'm convinced that the windfall profit penalties on oil companies that he's suggested are going to go straight into the gas prices and come out of my pocket.

I will tell you the problem I have with the new President elect. With too much Democratic power and control in all three branches of government. The outcome could never in our best intrest. The Inmates are running the Asylum, lack of balance. Plus I have no respect for a man especially the President who has a hard time saluting the flag, afraid he might offend someone. F --- that noise, we need a President with a pair of balls not a wenie...Roy

My biggest fears with obama being president...

1. From the things he has been talking about during his campaign, I fear he will slowly take away our rights...in such a way as most people will not even see that it's happening until it already a done deal.

2. Higher taxes. I work in the oil business (for one of those evil oil companies). I have worked in the business for over 30 years. It has taken me a long time and a lot of hard work to get where I am today. I DO NOT want the money I earn taken away from me and given to someone that pops out babies in order to receive a monthly check...and don't tell me that doesn't happen, cause I KNOW it does! I do not want America to become the next socialist nation to fall.

3. I fear he will disarm America and leave us open to attack from the outside as well as from terrorists inside the country.

4. While I feel everyone should be able to receive affordable healthcare, I do not want the government telling me or anyone else what they think I need as far as medical treatment. I would hate to see our health care system end up in as bad a shape as the VA. No offense to the vets. It may start off with the best of intensions, but the government has a history of really screwing things up when they get their hands into things.

It has nothing to do with fear of the unknown...IMO, it has to do with a man that is power driven and I don't think he would let anyone stand in his way...least of all the American people.

I'm afraid he'll raise my taxes.

I'm afraid he is too weak to deal effectively with an international crisis.

I'm afraid he'll bankrupt the country through unnecessary welfare programs and universal health care.

I'm afraid he'll appoint extremely liberal justices who will legislate from the bench.

There are many things I'm afraid of when it comes to President Obama.

I voice these fears because he's yet to give me any reason to doubt them.

In Stating the platform he has said he wanted to follow in this campaign, I actualy bothered to go and research what he actualy did while he had all those other offices. What made me mad and NOT in fear of him is that in almost all cases, he voted exactly opposite to my own beliefs in our Consitutional rights. He always went with what would give the special interests of social managementa bigger stake in the government. Or he didn't vote at all if it would have shown exactly what he realy thinks. Manipulation of his legend has always bothered me. It shows a lack of true character. Not one who actualy believes what he spouts for the MSM and the masses!! Only whats expediant!

I'm afraid of Obama because I'm trying to decide what the puppetmasters are trying to accomplish while everybody is completely sidetracked claiming civil rights victories for minorities because Obama is black. It is an orchestrated historical event yet again, just like all other civil rights "liberations" have been.
At least before, all the minorities, ethnical sexual and philosophical minorities, knew somewhat who was whipping their ass into submission.

It's a great time for civil liberties.... while at the same time gay marriage is being banned or on its way to being banned in several states, individual free thought is becoming more and more of a crime...... and ummm well Barack Obama never REALLY promised a METHOD of his mighty change platform, nor did he even mention any of the REAL issues.... just oh no yeah great fix the economy yeah sure jobs taxes economy foreign policy jobs taxes economy foreign policy education healthcare jobs taxes the economy foreign policy education healthcare yada yada yada and every generation all of those problems we keep promising we'll fix just get worse and worse and the next generation is even more up # creek than the last. Maybe you have got it "good" right now and you aren't being punched in the face with reality everyday.... maybe you can trust in these fraudulent systems and these old tired shaved monkeys in suits parading towards the podium and reading speeches written for them by other people very helf-assedly emphatic and ripping at the ignorant heartstrings of the other ignorant shaved apes in self contained cages sitting their watching their indoctrination boxes and cheering on the idiot parade... but I'm here to say this. We are just witty monkeys that can never shut the hell up long enough to listen to what people really struggle with... and all of this fluff that politics and media and government corporations and capitalism and religious institutions and any type of holier than thou establishment try to push upon us as what we should be concerned about while we repress our true struggles within, labelling clever little psychological ailments to explain as to why us horrible atrocious demonic savage animals in need of taming cannot get with the omnipresent and all knowing all seeing all caring all powerful godly program which we are so generously and kindly being forceably inserted into as soon as we are born.

That's why I don't trust Obama. Because he's the fake president of a fake #ing veil of colorful and emotive fantasy covering up a big evil global murder mechanism. We're slaves forced to kill our world and all its inhabitants including ourselves, and we're supposed to be happy that a human of some slightly darker shade of melanin in their skin is president, because we've been so conditioned over the generations as to think that's an accomplishment? Just cuz he's a slightly browner shade of HUMAN doesn't mean he's some infallible Jesus Figure. He's not a sign of any sort of progress or liberation or step forward of any kind in the right direction for us humans who are as individuals naturally given consciousness and free will to govern ourselves. He is just another representative in a long long line of corrupt or brainwashed or whatever represetatives of the system of human oppression called "government".

To govern the mind. govern ment. oops thats what they meant? yup, that's what was on their mind. study the similarity of words, too. language is a distortion of meaning/mind... and laguage is what the politicians are best at using cleverly to manipulate people into thinking they did or are doing or are going to do anything at all on the behalf of the citizens of said country.
It's sad that because of all these mental distortions that have arisen over the millenia that in the enlightened year of 2008, we're still happy about what skin color means what. skin color means nothing. it's a scientific fact. melatonin. yet we're still pretty much repressing everyone who's not a drone and a clone anyway.... and we applaud this?

Maybe he's a trojan horse that will infiltrate the system and then take it down fast like it should go so humanity can rise above it once again and come together despite all these fake borders and boundaries and ethnicities and separations.... but I doubt it. I probably shouldn't say these "extremist" things on the internet, but the internet is about as monitored as anywhere else... and I honestly think 99.99999 percent of the population, ATS included, has absolutely no clear and properly functioning faculties in order to be able to even come close to beginning to understand how much bull# they eat like christ chex cocoa flavered num nums to a fat kid on a weekend everything binge EVERDAY. You eat # and you love it.
