Church Abuse..Who else gets hurt?

According to Wikipedia, the American Catholic Church has paid out about $2 Billion over the past 50 years to sexual abuse victims.

What i'm wondering is, where does the money come from?

Does anyone know whether or not our tax dollars are used in pay-offs to victims?

was it not the Romans that sacked the temple of israel and stole all it's treasure ? As the final editor of the bible wasn't Constantine a roman emperor? It would be fair to say there's a good start for some serious wealth.

The church gets literally billions of dollars a year and don't have to pay taxes on it.

and i wouldn't be surprised if they're in cahoots with the banks
