If I recall I can´t remember seing any official photographs or official statements from NASA or JPL! -
Exept the rumour that we heard about an important major discovery from the Phoenix Lander, that NASA/JPL would briefe the White House about! (1 aug. 2008)

So did NASA Astronaut Mike Kelly accidental revealed that LIFE ON MARS is a fact !!! Hip Hurah So finally we can move to other areas of great importance like UFO-disclosure etc. Or is there more to this story here!?

There is less to the story. You are reading too much into it. "Some evidence..there is a possibility" is a far cry from saying there is life on Mars. He was probably referring to meteorite ALH84001, the ambiguous results returned from the Viking lander, and the indications that there may have been liquid water.

If you would take the time to go through the links. It´s the Phoenix Lander and the Thermal and Evolved Gas Analyzer (TEGA) findings I think he´s referring to. The dates and times for the different news-releases are fairly close to one another.
And Mike Kelly are saying: "We have seen some evidence..."
I think it´s interesting! - That is if you are reading the storys in the links and compare the dates too. - A kind of overview!

Some evidence there is a POSSIBILITY of life in the past. How in the world is that disclosure that there IS life on Mars?

An official NASA Space-commander is saying in an official capacity, that they have seen some evidence of a possibility of life on Mars!
I would not think of the word possibility. - But ask What have they seen? What is the evidence?
And it is not ordinary at all that he is speaking in an official capacity!
NASA is very officious when it comes to speaking about extraterrestial phenomenons on behalf of NASA!
So it could be an new controlled leak of something more important to come in a later time!
The dates are July 30 for this interview. And the dates for the NASA Mars Phoenix Lander, and the Thermal and Evolved Gas Analyzer (TEGA)s experiments confirmed experimental evidence for the existence of water in the Mars regolith on Thursday July 31.
And furthermore the Aviation Week & Space Technology article about NASA briefing The White House about Potential for Mars Life is from August 1 !

So my contention that NASA astronaut and Discovery Commander Mark Kelly was
In an official situation proclaiming something that could be recognized as a kind of ”controlled disclosure” I´m still believing! Furthermore maybe the ”secret” contains some answers you only are able to find if you compare or combine the results for both
the Thermal and Evolved Gas Analyzer (TEGA) and the MECA wet-chemistry Instrument! - And maybe with some other results too!
But what can you find that is so important that you have to briefe White House before disclosure? - Oil? Air? Timber? Fossils of primates?
Another interesting debate could be What can you proof to be on Mars with the Thermal and Evolved Gas Analyzer (TEGA) and the MECA wet-chemistry Instrument that is so important to hide!? And combined analyzes?
Furthermore it was another astronaut coming forth and proclaiming a personally view about extraterrestial Life, but in an official position, that too is interesting !
Am I the only one to see and feel this to be of importance?
Without reading the links and comparing the dates and information in a proper way, yes for shure then there is nothing to debate! But with the info I think it´s very interesting!

Could we be less GENERAL and aim toward being more specific about life on Mars ? Do you mean MICROBES ? Or would you like to get to the more important and non-foot-dragging truth ? Mars female 2004 Mars Male Mars Male wearing cap Human -looking animal.

I would have to say that if there was no evidence of any kind, of any amount, then I would rule out any possibility of life on Mars.

However, that is not the case...is it.

There is evidence that provides a possibility. That does not mean there is no life there. It means it is possible given the evidence to date.

Lets be up front here and honest. We know life can exsist in frozen permafrost here on Earth. We know life can exist deep below the ocean near guysers of extremely hot water. We know there is microbial life that can exsist in bombardments of radiations.

Knowing all of this...are we really going to cower into a corner with the lame excuse every time someone in NASA mentions evidence for life?

Cmon now. Its time to grow up and take off the pampers of fear and face up to reality that life is most likely to exist out there, even as close as next door on Mars.

Unless someone...anyone can show proof that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that suggests possible life out there.. then I would suggest you sit down and be quiet so we can continue the quest for knowledge and what really is out there.
