I don't know where to put this but I wondered if anyone can tell me how spammers got my home address. I know how they got my email address and ip address, but this email I rec'd kind of pissed me off. Do I need to be worried about this? I never requested any info on working at home.

You can buy cold contact mailing lists on the internet. They are gathered up from all over the place. infousa is one of them. Pick what data base you want data out of. It's pretty annoying really.

Have you registered a domain name?

That wouldn't explain the IP but then it could just be throw in to misdirect you.

That does look like it was collected from a form on some site.

It did not have my last name, only my first, but it had all the other info I posted. If it were a site I bought something from, wouldn't they have both my first and last names?

I've never had an email like this before and I was a bit worried.

Oh, and no, I don't have a domain registered under any name and never have.

I also noticed this in the email. That sure looks odd.
