My first two thoughts were that this is either a Cable, or a Bird. However, what would a cable be doing over the field? I have NEVER seen ANY cables strung out over Football Fields. On the other hand, if it was a bird, then such a hit would have knocked the critter right out of the sky, and there would most likely be a body, or at least an unconscious bird, lying in the field.

Angels in the Endzone for real.

I have trouble with the wind theory but there isn't any real explanation I can see.
What brand of football was that?
I'd like to get my nephew one for Christmas.

Never seen a cable over a highschool stadium. But they do have them at NFL games. It's got 4 cables that are all tied from 1 corner of the stadium to the other, and there is a camera that rolls around on the cables to get anywhere it wants over the field. It's the camera that shoots those crazy shots above peoples heads. It's pretty cool. I had never seen them before until I started going to games(when I moved to the west coast).

No clue what it was, a cable makes the most sense, but I don't see one. In those lights, you'd think it would have parts shinning off it, especially if it was getting hit and moved a bit. A bird? I just don't think it would skip like that off a bird, and what happens to the bird after?
