This is a great article

Why it's good to have a former Senator in Charge

There are great bipartisan quotes in this article such as:

I encourage Democrats not to repeat the missteps made by Republicans by excluding thoughtful debate. And I encourage the American people to stay involved with the intensity manifested by heightened participation in the democratic process.

And...

My teaching on the Princeton campus last year revealed to me an explosion of energizing interest in "the system" and how to make it better from within -- very different from when I was there 38 years ago and the same activism was channeled toward tearing it down.

And another highlight that I really admired Senator Frist for saying was:

The wounds of the campaign are not as deep or angry as the media portray. For many, there is disappointment, and this must be consoled with time and discussion; for more, there is a sense of hope and quiet optimism that fresh ideas and new faces and commitment to collaboration can, if handled with care and grace, nurture a new prosperity.

Obama is a puppet, you do know this right?

It's very interesting that people have been so brainwashed by the main stream news corporation backed, that they actually believe Bush and Obama are different?

What's the saying... "different wing on the SAME bird".

Here's some proof for you: www.wholetruthcoalition.org...

Wake up and smell the BS.

Bill Frist, the guy who rammed through legislation making it harder to gamble online, by sneaking it into Port Security legislation.

Ugh, I can't stand this guy, I'm glad he retired.

Another Republican who tried to legislate by "getting along with" and compromising with Democrats. Republicans don't need leaders like him.

BTW...Just because he made it harder doesn't mean it can't be done.

Jets/Patriots over 42 points!!!! Score Score Score!

Gee seems to me that RR was also reached across the aisle alot.

RR wasn't filled with anywhere as much animosity as you appear to be.

Reaching across the aisle to get them to agree with you is fine.

Jumping across the aisle to agree with them is a different story.
