I need HELP with far cry 2 pc map editor!

Why is it not working! dumb game says you can make your own maps, so why is the map editor not work every time I try to open it?
any help would be greatly appreciated...

I tried to contact ubisoft but they never respond. some company

I still have no idea what the problem is.

Tried any specific Farcry 2 forums? Like Ubi.com?

i have been making a map for far cry 2 and now i want to play the map in multiplayer . but when i choose create map i cant find it .

can someone help ? please ?

Well, my problem is different, i can create map but when I save it, I can't find it in user maps folder.All game modes I have created are valid.

ive been makeing some maps but yesterday i clicked on the X thing (not the close it all, but only close the tool bar thing) by a mistake and i dont know how to get it up help please!

i know it , you must go to program files then to UBISOFT en then the map editor this one works for sure

This is only a guess and I have not used the editor, so if all else fails.
do this at your own risk.

1. go to systems
2. click Advanced system settings
3. click the Advanced tab
4. click the settings tab in the performance visual effects, etc
5. click the Data Execution Prevention tab
6. Turn off the DEP
7. try the editor again
