To me, one big thing is that we are travelling at over 2milliion miles per hour (exceeding the speed of light), which violates a major rule of physics.

The speed of light is 671,000,000 mph.

Things that can travel faster than c

Wave velocities and synchronized events

It has long been known theoretically that it is possible for the "group velocity" of light to exceed c.[19] One experiment in 2000 made the group velocity of laser beams travel for extremely short distances through caesium atoms at 300 times c.[20] In 2002, at the Université de Moncton, physicist Alain Haché sent pulses at a group velocity of three times c through a 120-metre cable made from a coaxial photonic crystal.[21] However, it is not possible to use this technique to transfer information faster than c: the velocity of information transfer depends on the front velocity (the speed at which the first rise of a pulse above zero moves forward) and the product of the group velocity and the front velocity is equal to the square of the normal speed of light in the material.

Exceeding the group velocity of light in this manner is comparable to exceeding the speed of sound by arranging people distantly spaced in a line, and asking them all to shout "I'm here!", one after another with short intervals, each one timing it by looking at their own wristwatch so they don't have to wait until they hear the previous person shouting. Another example can be seen when watching ocean waves washing up on shore. With a narrow enough angle between the wave and the shoreline, the breakers travel along the waves' length much faster than the waves' movement inland

This is an excerpt from wikipedia.

Please do a little more research into what you just posted. To say that information or matter is moving faster than c because of group velocity is... misleading to say the least.

Well i had it so didn't need the help from yet another self styled defender of all that is supposedly scientific and thus 'good'. Pathetic. I suggest you defend people and principles that both need it and are worthy of your concern. For starters i suggest the billion odd people that are going to bed hungry tonight or for that matter the 20 odd thousand that will die by the end due to starvation.

nor respond to all of the empty and contrived things you've just said.

You mean more contrived than 'forces' that operates from beyond our observed universe to pull things in various directions? Whatever.

I can see you're happy being some kind of odd combination of a nihilist-solipsist theologian.

Nihilist? Theologian? Wouldn't the first require me to have serious problems with humanity and the second require me to believe in some kind of 'God? That's zero for two so good luck on your future guesses!

I am the FURTHEST thing from both and that you not only couldn't figure out my motive in this post but never bothered to read any of the other 4000 to see what i could be about is telling.

Thanks for nothing.

Science as institution have always battled reality and have consistently lost in the long run. I am not worried that the truth wont come out and believers in the religion of science, such as you seem to style yourself, can stand on your heads if you think your going to get 'respect' from people who actually study the books these scientist writes.

Whatever my faults i am not uninformed *snip*.

Sounds interesting, of course its based on the big bang theory being right.
It aint called a theory for nothing, personally, I dont believ the theory to be true.

This is a very interesting thread. I was just wondering if anyone thought about what might happen if we (our galaxy, earth, solar system, etc.) and where we would go if there was a cut (wound) in the larger "container" for lack of a better term? In other words, where would the "atom" of us go if the larger "container" was wounded and we bled out?

Cheers,
Raven

Anything is possible out in deep Space, far beyond our abilities to even think about visiting far way Planets and the dark skies. Humans think in Terms of Alpha and Omega... a beginning and an end, but that is simply NOT the way it works. There was NEVER a "beginning of matter; it always has existed and always shall." Everything is controlled by electricity and "flushes" non-stop. We change from liquids to solids to gasses and back, all the time.

There are NO Limitations to Space; it goes on forever and ever and everything in it has movement of one form or the other in order to exist.

Man is the ONLY animal that screws up EVERYTHING he touches and always tries to improve on; of course, his silly attempts to improve on Perfection ALWAYS backfire. man needs to learn to "leave it alone."

In the not-too-distant Future, trhe Earth shall get top-heavy from the non-stop accumulation of snow and ice at our North Pole and then one day, right on schedule, it shall once again "Rapture" and tip over on its side like it has done a number of times in the Past. Animals grazing in the Tropics suddenly find themselves freezing to death at the NEW North Pole. Seaside Villages like Machu Pichou suddenly have a water level drop of thousands of feet as mountain ranges suddenly upheave. Islands rise and/or disappear. Volcanoes erupt, floods occur, Species disappear in one day. Mother Nature takes over when she has enough and things go back to "normal" once more. (Natural Perfection; leave it the hell alone!")

Could it be that black holes are a type of blood vessel
in a huge cosmic body? Could it be that the sun is the nucleus of an atom in this huge cosmic body?
Being drawn in a certain direction, the blood flow of the body is very unique to the celll structure in which it exists.
Could it be that we are truly inside God, a part of him, as he encompasses all things?
I think so.

Well, the current model of the universe is the big bang theory, and from that explosion, our universe has been steadily expanding, like a balloon.
This observed phenomena (extra-universe influences) doesn't fit with that model. The main problem with the big bang was where did that matter and energy come from in the first place!
Likewise, the fact that ~90% of the matter in our universe is not visible, and only barely detectable is another cause for bafflement.
There is a recent development in studies which, due the distribution of matter in the universe, points to our universe being a leak from another universe. It would seem matter escaped that universe and bubbled out to form our universe. There may well be multi-extra-universe universes out there, hence their influence upon our system.

Thinking about the way the 'multiverse' works and our own little part, I also think that our universe leaked from another , it like having a pipe of water (Universe 1 ) then wrapping a balloon round it as it begins to spring a leak, the balloon fills up with the makings of universe2 then as it expands it fills up till it explodes ( big bang theory) then universe 3 comes into play ( say gravity for example) it starts to pull universe 2 towards it hence the tugging.

I gotta stop drinking sugar filled fizzy pop.

I think light speed is 186,000 miles per second. Thats more than 2million miles per hour. Isn't it?

Anything is only possible if you don't know much. That is the whole point of gathering knowledge and if you revert to such claims when you formerly said that you had information your making a mockery of the whole process your pretending to employ.

Humans think in Terms of Alpha and Omega... a beginning and an end, but that is simply NOT the way it works.

SOME do and mostly those who have been religiously indoctrinated. It's most certainly not part of instinctive or genetic makeup to believe that there most be a beginning or a end.

There was NEVER a "beginning of matter; it always has existed and always shall."

Possibly hence the fact that some cosmologist argue and show proofs for a steady state universe that do not seem to have a observable start or really any need for one.

Everything is controlled by electricity and "flushes" non-stop. We change from liquids to solids to gasses and back, all the time.

No, we do not.

There are NO Limitations to Space; it goes on forever and ever and everything in it has movement of one form or the other in order to exist.

And the evidence for that is where exactly?

Man is the ONLY animal that screws up EVERYTHING he touches and always tries to improve on;

Then you do not know much about life in general. No life form on the planet does not change his environment and no life form in existence is completely incapable of screwing up his environment to such a extant that he can no longer life there. Life is inherently destabilizing.

of course, his silly attempts to improve on Perfection ALWAYS backfire. man needs to learn to "leave it alone."

Which attempts are those? When and how have they always backfired? If you want to leave things alone i suggest you leave your pc and go build yourself a mud hut somewhere without relying on anything you can not create yourself.

In the not-too-distant Future, trhe Earth shall get top-heavy from the non-stop accumulation of snow and ice at our North Pole and then one day, right on schedule, it shall once again "Rapture" and tip over on its side like it has done a number of times in the Past.

We have pretty solid evidence ( or appearing any ways) for polar shifts but unless God ,read aliens ( i suppose) does this rapture thing relatively randomly and liked to save prehistoric humans as well as older lifeforms before it's certainly not direct evidence.

I should add that i don't believe the evidence is in that polar shifts are created by the planet becoming 'top heavy'.
As i understand it's more like crustal displacement/rapid movement....

Animals grazing in the Tropics suddenly find themselves freezing to death at the NEW North Pole. Seaside Villages like Machu Pichou suddenly have a water level drop of thousands of feet as mountain ranges suddenly upheave.

Well we have allegedly found flowers in the stomachs of animals that were apparently flash frozen. Either way i'm not sure what crustal 'slippage' has to do with the potential for a rapture!

Islands rise and/or disappear. Volcanoes erupt, floods occur, Species disappear in one day.

Yes, nature isn't 'nice' as some would like to suggest in their green diatribes.

Mother Nature takes over when she has enough and things go back to "normal" once more. (Natural Perfection; leave it the hell alone!")

There is no such thing as normal in nature. 'Nature' ( the planet and life on it) is ALWAYS in flux on the small scale and occasionally that flux is massively increased by external or internal processes.

'Normal' is nonsense and it would help a whole lot if most people could be made to understand that 'normal' is at best imposed on us by environmental changes or general flux or cultural/technological mores.

Yeah, i reckon there are universes inside every atom, and the further in you go, keeps getting smaller and smaller universes (that vibrate at a higher frequency) or bigger and bigger universes (that vibrate at a slower frequency), whichever way you want to go, its like a fractal universe which has universes inside universes inside universes never ending. Sure does boggle the mind...

Why is it that planets go around stars really slow compared to the speed that electrons go around atoms? I think its the whole fractal principle.

I'm sorry for not jumping on board with this amazing discovery, this is a good example of the state of the broken gravity centric view of the universe.
The universe is made mostly of electrified plasma that create vast magnetic fields that can stretch for millions of light years.
The article right at the beginning makes this analogy "On the outskirts of creation, unknown, unseen "structures" are tugging on our universe like cosmic magnets".
Cosmic magnets is probably more closer to the truth than they think. Electro magnetism is billions and billions of times stronger than gravity.
Doesn't have an effect in space though.

Instead of it standing as a refutation of the Big Bang theory another, yes, yet another untestable, unprovable idea without any basis in reality is once again thrown into the mix to keep a broken model alive. One that has grown so ridiculous future humans will look back at our generation like flat Earthers.

You are right, the Electric Universe theory holds more water than the claim that gravity is the only thing that holds all planets, and gallaxies together.

This would also explain why the surface of the Sun is only about 5,500C, meanwhile the Sun's Corona has a temperature of over 1 million C. Meaning that it is impossible for the Sun to be a nuclear fusion star.

This is also the reason why we see the center of Sunspots darker, because you are seing the surface of the Sun which is much cooler than the Corona of the Sun.

What this means is that the Sun is getting energy from other regions of space, and the same thing can be said of every star. They are all interconnected by plasma which is electrical in nature. (Hence my screen name ;P)
