Or to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars after telling her to only buy three outfits?

She was the only one who wasn't a rich person in this election. I don't think people wanted to see her in her Alaskan garbs. What she spent on clothes was a drop in the bucket and was from money used to run the campaign. She was part of that campaign and had an appearance to uphold. Once again, people trying to deflect everything on her for the poor campaign they ran.

I wish people would get just as Angry with their government and criticize it as much as Palin. The government is spending our money wastefully everyday and people are more alarm or concerned cause Palin spent thousands on clothes. Just goes to show what kind of world we live in. Government got their money through taxes, Palin got hers through donations....Huge difference.

I dont' think McCain had a choice over Palin. And I feel a lot of people believe that he didn't pick her, the GOP did.
Since everyone is not happy with the GOP right now, it means they still have complete control over McCain. he wasn't as much as the maverick as he claimed to be. he had to tell us he was.
Also, Palin is a heartbeat away from the presidency and no one wanted another country bumpkin in the white house. Can you imagine how she would come off to a foreign dignitary? Smarts have nothing to do with it.
And she was too evangelical for a lot of Americans, even christian ones.

And the gamble McCain took on suspending his campaign to help with the economic crisis really back fired on him. He just looked silly.

And MC is still just too much of a battle ax. A lot of people felt we would of gone into Iran if he was in office, and Americans are war weary. The last thing we want is another war.

It wasn't one particular reason for all Americans. It never is. Americans spoke loud and clear that something different has to be done. And Mc just wasn't different.
