Yes its true.

For instance

Fox News: Palin didn't know Africa was a continent!

etc much more...

Is McCain repenting now, and will Alaska collapse? What do you think?

I wouldn't go as far as calling Sarah Palin dumb. The right word to be used here would be ignorant.

ig⋅no⋅rant  –adjective
1. lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
2. lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
3. uninformed; unaware.
4. due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.

McCain lost, due to him running an atrocious campaign, and his pick of an unknown [Sarah Palin] who came out with such power in the beginning then slowly revealed how little she even knew about the position of VP. Even not knowing what the VP does, or the responsibilities of the position. McCain sunk himself, his way of repentance is watching as the party throws her under the bus.

Heh, I love the Africa thing.

But even as anti-Palin as I am, I must say, she sounded like a completely different person when she was interviewed in her tracky dacks while getting into her car.

She even sounded somewhat intelligent - if she wasn't so manufactured and made up by the Republicans, she possibly could have pulled it off.

i foresee problems with alaska. a situation that would seem impossible only months ago.....Old America vs. New America.

Considering McCain completely endorsed Palin the entire time. And completely sympathized with her qualifications. I would say what ever Palin did would be equally reflected on McCain; they were a team.

Give Sarah a break. Like she said during he rconcession speech..

"I would like the opportunity to run for vice president again in 2009."

We will not go back to the way it was. this is an evolution of consciousness. those who will continue to harbor biases and fear, those who will attempt to oppose The New America, will be defeated. not by the military, but by a civilian army who will not allow this country to be ruled by the prior millennium's lies and prejudices.

give credit where credit is due, obama simply ran a way better campaign.

McCain lost because he couldn't match Obama's funds. McCain elected to use public funding, which limited him to $84 million (or somewhere around there, I could be off a little). Obama chose private funding and shattered records left and right. He raised $150 million in September alone (Obama Takes in a Record $150 Million)

The Obama campaign had so much money, it didn't know what to do with all of it. Obama raised more money than Bush and Kerry combined. Obama's fundraising apparatus was an absolute monster. They were able to buy 30 minutes of air time during prime-time. The created a free iPhone/iPod Touch application on iTunes to reach potential voter. They even bought ad space in a video game (Obama buys first video game campaign ads)

Palin certainly didn't help. But McCain's chances of winning were slim to none long before Palin was brought on board.

Definately a fine example of pre-marketed politics.

Lets hope this "change" will be what was promised during the "way better campaign".

I doubt it.

Cheers!!!!

and those people sent him money because they believed in him he ran his campaign very wisely. if mccain would have done the same thing he wouldn't have raised half as much money. the american people have spoken, get over it.

I agree, dude. I'm on your side. I was just pointing out something that hindered McCain.

Palin is not dumb. Just not cut out for such a high political position. If McCain was a good leader, he would have ran his campaign a hell of a lot better than how it was. This isn't the John McCain I respected 4 - 8 years ago. He was not the same person while he was campaigning, because he was listening to republican idiots who thought they knew how to win an election. If he talked to us as he did during his concession speech throughout his campaign, and picked a more qualified person as his running mate, things may have been different. It's as if he wanted to lose.

Other than that, most of America based their vote on character, and Obama truly spoke from his heart to us. You can tell that by their eyes. Have you seen any soul in George Bush's eyes during his presidency? Did you see any soul in McCain's eyes during his campaigning? I didn't, and that is why he didn't get my vote. Obama is true, and very proud. Look at the world's reaction. This truly is an epiphany. Just wait, I am sure we will be proud Americans again.

God Bless America! A country based on beliefs and ideas, and proven today. I was thinking about beating feet out of this country, but now I am an excited citizen again. I look forward to seeing the sun rise over the horizon in January.

Yeah she's such an idiot as opposed to all THE GENIUSES running our government right now.

There is also no proof of the africa comment because it comes from anonymous sources. The world is going to hell and this is what people are commenting on? Cripes some of you need to come to grips with reality.

She lost...it's over!!

We should really give credit where it's due here:
-If it wern't for Republicans for republicans deregulating the energy futures market, making it easier for ARMs to be put in place(that's right folks you know how many banks failed because of arms in the 90's can you guys? 9!) and shilling themselves to big business, like well NOBODIES BUSINESS.
-a war which told our service men not only do you get to stay longer(but we're gonna pay mercenaries 4-6 times as much as you)
-nominating a candidate who may have had the support of the troops but voted against them over 100 times since the 90's(seriously look it up)
-picking a candidate who not only agreed with us some of the time, but had to make a Hard right turn, pander to the base and pick Palin to shore up support
-letting Afghanistan get out of hand(when it was already done)
-saying there's no way we should go across the border into pakistan(then have our president do it weeks later)
-tell our troops it was okay to torture(then prosecuting the lowest soldiers, not going up to the food chain)
-picking a woman just cause you thought it could attract some votes from Hillary Clinton
-Going negative, and when it's pointed out saying "BUT HE'S DOIN IT TOOOO'. Except theres one problem about that, Obamas negative ads actually talked about YOUR policies and President. While you had so many attacks and associations you managed to link Obama to somebody that McCain gave 10 times as much money too.
-A huge thanks goes to John McCain for suspending his campaign saying he must Immeadiately go back to washington and get in the dirt, cancelling his appearance on David Letterman saying he was leaving right away. Allowing Letterman to show him sitting down with Katie Couric, just up the street. That showed real passion and dedication taking 24 hours to get from NYC to D.C. ( I coulda got there faster on a friggin grey hound)

So please, don't think this is Sarah Palins fault, she is a Washington outsider after all. This was a team effort, and when a team works this hard you gotta give credit where it's due.

This Win is for you Republicans, without you there's no way the Democrats could have mopped the floor. Even "crazy" Cucinich and his Aliens could have won.

Being weak and dumb? That is no excuse because Biden had her beat in those departments. Telling a wheelchair bound State Rep to "Stand Up" and proclaiming JOBS is a 3 letter word was some of his hair-brained moments...but as usual the media gave him a pass. The Obama campaign had to shut Biden down in the last 2 weeks of the election, afraid that the next gaffe would be too harmful to overcome.

Palin is going to be huge for the Republican Party for quite a few years. With the huge crowd she draws, she is going to be a fund-raising machine for other Republicans candidates in the upcoming elections in 2010.

You sir are silly. I was going to say it was obvious you listen to Rush Limbaugh, I do too(I find it important listen to both sides of a argument), but I glanced at your quote.

If you didn't notice, and I'm sure you didn't, Biden never stopped campaigning. If you had checked the candidates website regularly, like I did both Obamas and McCains, you would know that Biden was actually the point man in smaller towns and venues especially in the states of Indianna, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Because if there's one thing you shouldn't do in a Presidential campaign is have your VP candidate overshadow the Presidential.

Wasn't it Rush Limbaugh who said Biden was the perfect person to trash and thus win it for the republicans? Here's some advice stop getting your talking points from Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Drudge Report and Faux news. Actually check out opposing radio shows, democratic websites and read into the laws your opposition pass'. I know it sounds like a lot of work but if you love politics, like I do, it should be fun. Who doesn't love digging up dirt?

Here's a few things I've learned about Sarah Palin.
-For a town of about 5,000 people(when she was mayor), she left them 22 million dollars in debt. That's $4,400 a person. Guess they'll have to give up there socialist oil money check they receive for a couple years.
-An article that came out over 7 months ago points out Alaska is the number one receiver of federal spending.
www.usatoday.com...
Guess that damn liberal news media knew she was going to be governor ahead of time.
And just for giggles heres part of a very extensize letter written by a resident of her wonderous small town in Wasilla that launched her political career.

During her mayoral administration, most of the actual work of running this small city was turned over to an administrator. She had been pushed to hire this administrator by party power-brokers after she had gotten herself into some trouble over precipitous firings, which had given rise to a recall campaign.
Sarah campaigned in Wasilla as a “fiscal conservative.” During her six years as mayor, she increased general government expenditures by more than 33 percent. During those same six years, the amount of taxes collected by the city increased by 38 percent. This was during a period of low inflation (1996-2002). She reduced progressive property taxes and increased a regressive sales tax, which taxed even food. The tax cuts that she promoted benefitted large corporate property owners way more than they benefited residents.

Who's the tax and spender now?

I'll close with a pertinant quote from Sun Tzu for you.

If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril.
