I don't know how to explain this but for the past couple years I've been having strange stuff happen at night. It isn't metaphysical necessarily but it is a bit worrying if nothing else. I consider myself mentally stable but it's some type of sleep walking complete loss of consciousness episode. My mom who I have only met a few times my entire life told me about something similar that apparently runs on her side of the family. I only learned I was doing this by leaving a web cam on over night.

Apparently I get up in the middle of the night around 3 am, dead on, and go on the computer. Also supposedly leave the house. During this time I have no idea what I've done. It's like some type of trance. I'll wake up the next morning and all the history on my computer will be cleared and the door unlocked. When I met my mother she told me she would wake up on her front lawn and sometimes attack people while in the state. I'm mentally fine but this is some really strange sleep walking, split self feeling. When I wake up I feel completely refreshed and have no memory except the webcam. LOL it's a bit absurd. Any ideas what this is? Is it normal sleep walking?

I am concerned that you might get hurt. Uhm, if it is "salient" sleep walking I would guess that even if you have a keypad door lock you might find you went out at night any ways, since you report operating a computer!

Ya, ask a professional? Has to be some help for ya?

That's what I'm concerned of. It's just scary because I'm in such a trance state from the sleep or whatever. There's no telling what I might do. I've heard of people killing themselves in their sleep.

Go to the doctors mate. Just cos you feel mentally fine during the day, don't mean that you are mentally fine during sleep. Call first thing in the morning and put yours and your familys mind at rest.

I will. What do you think they'll suggest though? I really don't want to put anything inorganic in my body.

so you dont know what you are doing on your computer at night and you history is cleared?! that is very interesting. I mean VERY interesting. Are you not curious what you may be doing on your computer? I have to ask,
is clearing your history something you normally do, or is it only the time you noticed you were sleep surfing?

You should find a key logger or something, find out what you are finding out while you are asleep, then go to the doctor. If the doctor makes it go away, you might miss out on some seriously profound information you are privy to in sleep.

How long have you been doing this? If its been going on for a while, I think a couple more nights you'll be safe. If its a brand new thing, then maybe you should see the doc immediately. Personally, I wouldn't see the doctor, but thats just me, I would be investigating wtf Im doing in my sleep. Its the wee morning hours when my dreams are still fresh in my mind that I can understand things on a multi dimensional level and it makes perfect sense exactly like in meditation. If you are sleep walking, and you naturally thought to bust out the web cam, then I believe you are trying to tell yourself something. But thats just my own opinion.

They may give you sleeping pills to help you enter the deeper phases of sleep for longer or even refer you to a sleep therapist who will be more qualified and experienced in this area and will be able to advise you. Its just a bit worrying that you don't have any recollection of events and that your family has an history of it. Dont want you hurting yourself or anybody else now do we!!!!

Well the webcam I have set up before I go to bed. The only time I ever clear the history is if I'm doing something considered morally wrong. If you get what I mean....I'm a guy. But I know it's not anything sexual. As I said in another topic it's usually centered around dreams of government cover ups. I recall vaguely a dream during these times where I am either in a base getting injected with a chemical or looking at a web site with documents and physics theories about UFO propulsion and such.

I can't remember events that are actually happening just the dreams I have during the time. I'm worried that like I'll go out the window. Far drop.

Exactly! Dont want you hurting yourself! Who knows what goes through our minds when we're asleep?!? I dream all crazy things, luckily I am in the confines of my own bed but for those who sleep walk! Its serious! My sister was terrible at it when she was young, the amount of mornings she's wake up with a black eye from falling down the stairs! Is unsurmountable! And my mum kept our stair gate up until she was 13! She'd undo it! Hmm, maybe it runs in my family too!

Have you ever thought you and your mother might be abductees, I read some real interesting material on an Aussie site and I could send it onto you. I just have to get the URL first. I wouldn't go to a doctor, but maybe talk to someone who is more holistic. Sleepwalking and not remembering could be the hints.

The only flaw with that is that I see myself sleep walking on the camera until I go up/or reach up and turn the camera off which in a way is kind of strange now that I think about it. I do have some abductee traits but if it hasn't been witnessed on camera I'm not convinced I've been abducted. I'd still like to see that site though

This is extremely interesting, I suggest downloading a key logger and also set up you pc so you can't don't delete the history file. I am interested in the fact that there may be more to this than meets the eye. Especially with what you said U2U me and lets chat away from prying eyes.

BTW Did you research the bloodline?

I can totally relate. I have sexomnia. I do things in my sleep that I have absolutely no memory of doing. My huband tried for years to tell me what I was doing in my sleep and I thought he was crazy. That is until I went in for a sleep study. People do crazy things in their sleep and have no memory at all of it. There have been cases of people raping/killing others while sleeping and until I found out I had this I thought it was bs. I feel sometimes like I have a split personality because I don't know what I'm doing, or I don't know what I'm capable of doing in my sleep and it scares me. I take precautions at night now. Some people who have this sleep with tight clothes on that are hard to get off to prevent it from happening.

It's a sleep disorder you have. Go to a sleep dr., they can help you.

Good luck to you.

a few random ideas

upturned plugs all over the bedroom floor. Getting a 3 pronged plug in the foot. That'll wake you up.

Tether your leg to the bed with one of them surf board straps.

Other than that I can't help you I'm afraid,as I've never been a sleep walker. But the upturned plugs on the floor worked for me when I was having trouble waking up. (putthe allarm on the other side of the room, with floor covered in sharp hurty things, going back to sleep in pain is hard)

this post has been brought to you in jest.

So my friend IM's me the other day and he says. Why do you sign on every night at 3 am for the past year or so? I try to talk to you but you never respond. I have no recollection of doing this but it adds more to the enigma. It explains why I wake up sometimes and the computer is restarted or turned off. Also my dads computer is turned off and the modem is off.

Can you give us an update on your situation?

This is an interesting topic, I have only sleepwalked once from memory. I awoke in the morning as usual and found some sortof slime or squished slug on my shirt, dirt on my feet and at the end of the bed.

I have also heard of some dangerous sleepwalk stories from doco's..

I have only read the OP so sorry if this has been posted , but cant you acquire a simple video cam , turn it on and go to sleep with it ? Put it in a pocket or strap it around yourself .

Also You might try and put another cam somewhere across the room pointing at your computer .

Or if you are afraid you will turn it off while sleepwalking (at leas the one in the room) make a friend put it so you do not know where it is exactly .
