Well my ex-husband would sell empty boxes. He would give a hint what might be in them and people would bid on them. I was amazing that anyone would bid on them. He never promised that anything would be in the boxes and they would bid anyway. He would see how much the people would bid on the box and stick some items in the box from a drop shipper in it. He made pretty good money off it. He always put something in the box that was equal to the value of what the box went for. From how he explained it to me he made is money off of the shipping of the box and very little off the sell of the box. I still laugh today that people would bid on empty boxes.

This thread reminds me of the origami boulder company, where a guy was pretty much screwing up bits of paper and selling them as rocks....origami style.

People actually paid him money for it..lol
