So is Barack Obama really another messiah? During a charity dinner a few weeks back, even the Illinois Senator himself joked that unlike what people say about him…he was not born in a manger.

But given the extraordinary and unlikely events that have happened in recent weeks and month…that have clearly helped tilt the campaign his way over the last few months, it kind of makes you wonder whether this guy may have some spiritual powers to make things happen. Think about some of the timing.

Continue...

Seriously, do people actually believe this?

I'm not one for coincidences, but I have to say.... if it were to be true... I'm honestly afraid of this man. Not to mention that people are believing it so!

Do a google search and you'll see.

Well, after being slapped like a female dog for 8 years any person with a nice face and good talk will get fitted with messianic properties by the 'abused' people. He is seen as a saviour from Bush-politics (but it has to be seen that he delivers, ofcourse).

So, potentially creepy, indeed, but not really surprising. It's just action > reaction.

So in short, not agreeing with the claims but i do understand people that think that way.

I believe people really do believe he is a messiah. Look at this blog site obamamessiah.blogspot.com...

I hope this is a spoof site or some kind of joke.

You have a point there.

What's unbelievable is how people are willing to reach a change no matter who or how it's done.

People shouldn't be so blinded

That's just, well, for a lack of a better term: Crazy!

It's all good that we end one regime, but people shouldn't get so excited over it. Who knows, Obama might just be a wolf under a sheep's cloth.

Im still digesting the aftermath of the Obama victory, but I've almost nailed it down.

My apprehension stems from the fact that I believe he is a career politician.

Im almost inclined to say "Beware, America. Obama is your equivalent of Tony Blair".

Blair was the messianic equivalent of Obama. He won a massive landslide election on the theme of hope and change. I'll let you judge how that one has worked out for our country.

I kept on saying for over a year now, he is just another jim jones, of the peoples temple. America have a collection of cult leaders, and he is no different.

CIA must of learned alot in jonestown, and it helped obama win, lol.

Exodus 20:

4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me,

6 but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

OH and the next elections are in 2012...

I hope everyone is well vested in the Book of Revelation....

I had an inkling about it.

"If" it's true, then I believe that the majority will unfortunately parish

Too bad people don't believe in such things (I do).

It's just a matter of time.

Republicans are always the ones that bring up and compare Obama to a Messiah. I guess that's cause they actually believe in one.

Christ will come on a White Horse and judge the world with a new name and be known as rightious and true.

Lucifer will come in disguise, transform the world with lies and deception, promising prosperity but bringing destruction.

He -satan-stamps his feet and smoke goes out from them, implying that when satan doesnt get his way, war begins.

Satan offered Christ the world and nations. We know from this what satans future goal was. He is now fulfilling that.

I for one voted for him and hope he can make change like he has said

I for one, think of him only as our next president, not some messiah to save the world

people are just excited about him and metaphors are being taken literally

you cant read tone over text

so when people read, they are taking it face value

oh well

To quote the Leader of the Nation of Islam

"When i Hear Barrack Obama speak, there is no doubt in my mind, that the Messiah is ABSOLUTLY speaking"

The nation of Islam thinks BO is the Messiah.

I've had a funky feeling about this guy from the second i saw him on TV all these years ago, when he was nothing but a nothing-state senator...

I jokingly said that he COULD be the anti-christ... i said that over 2 years ago... and wach day, my joke looks more like prophicy...

I belive one of Nostrodames quatianes says something about the anti-christ wearing a blue turban...
