Obama's acceptance speech: A new beginning?

Obama has just arrived on stage and started his acceptance speech. I believe that this is perhaps one of the few times American politics has taken a positive step towards projecting a more positive image to the world.

History in the making is truly an understatement of the century!

yes. this is the start of a new america. this just shows that dreams can come true , and everyone has a chance of making it in this country. this is the most inspirational election ever because it is history in the making. white people, black people, hispanics... everyone came together tonight. Thats what america is all about.

History has been made tonight and I feel so fortunate to have been a witness to it and a participant in the process.

I am speechless

I am in awe

and I am hopeful that this new chapter in American history truly begins with a single word - "change"
