Anyone watching Colbert just see the nuclear war 2020 commercial thing with the space weapons etc., Kennedy quote, nuclear bombs going off, fast forward to 2020 and then some kind of space weapon shoots down at a nuclear facility and then there was just dead air for about 60 seconds. What the hell was that?
Was that a video game commercial or a upcoming movie or is someone trying to tell us something?
Freaked me out, maybe people on the west coast can DVR the show to see if the spot plays again.

Fear propaganda?

Have the people in the Colbert show been infiltrated by former Soviets?

by the way its interesting to me that they are making more and more games like this, its almost as if they are trying to get kids interested in being apart of fighting like this.

some nice subtle unconsious implants into the mind for the younger generation geering them up for what could happen....perhaps

Yep thats it

But it went to dead air after the space weapon melted the nuke facility and stayed dead for about 60 seconds and never finished the commercial so I thought the shtf, oops.
It was freaky, sorry folks.
But about that video game, scary stuff.

yeah exactly, i assume deep down the elite NWO feel kind of bad for preparring the world for WWIII,,, and at least want the youngin to get some practice in now so they are ready for the future....because they dont want their armies to be unable to control those Predator UAVs and all the other fun things they have instore

Indeed that is true.
For the record as well, the MPAA ratings on these are usually rated M, and thus children can not get ahold of them (normally). At the same time from what I know, these ads are not displayed during times which are set for children of younger age.

That game looks awesome and terrifying at the same time.

I'm going to get it.

Thanks for the game recommendation.

I saw the commercial too, dead air and all. I'm in Texas. It was definitely off-putting. I was hoping it was just some clever guerrilla advertising. Thanks for clearing it up, citizens.

I saw this as well and was slightly weirded out by the entire commercial but even more weired out by the fact that is was cut off followed by a good minute of dead air time.

It looks like an interesting game, but for me and the hubby, not the kiddo for sure~~!

The problem (if it is one) with the time thing is that it depends on where you are. It's relative after all.

Phage, you will find that many local provider offices (this isn't true if you get TV via Dish) will broadcast commercials per different times of day, much like when you see an ad for a TV Show it says 6 PM Eastern and Pacific / 5 Central.

What happens is those shows get held, and then replayed via a different stream at a later time for different timezones. My hunch is that the same applies to commercials on various networks -- and in some cases may include satellite (Dish Network I know is one of them.)
