I think that anyone with a brain could make the same predictions as the webbot is.

That's just what I think.

I think the webbot is flawed.

The webbot is only as accurate as the general consensus of the people. So if it is something outside of what people can know, or if people are biased towards the topic (i.e. what will happen on 2012), then it can't accurately predict it.

I compare Web Bot to GPS (global positing system). GPS looks at background electromagnetic info and arrives at incredibly accurate positioning. No reason to doubt GPS.

Web Bot is similar in that it averages out internet hits on a subject and makes appropriate predictions. See Web Bot Project. The idea is that the "collective unconcious" of humanity and the universe is revealed using this technique.

It predicted the current worldwide financial collapse quite well. It's accuracy depends on a computer program, however, so far it certainly has been useful. If human perceptions are wrong it might skew results but it seems like at reliable system!
