This thread is starting to get quite disgusting. the poor woman is dead, and yes maybe obama will get some sympathy votes, and maybe some might think hes using the sympathy and not vote for him because of that. as far as i see it swings both ways I've seen a lot in the papers etc. about Mcain having been a POW, surely some will think ahh poor man having went through that, will that not end in a sympathy vote?

get the thread back on track or delete it altogether, theres no need for some of the stuff thats been said.

It's been quite awhile since the last time i talked about matters like this but surely this thread doesn't give me any other choice.

First of all,Obama would win anyway.Why you ask?
Rebuplican's biggest weapon (Palin) was their biggest mistake.
Allthough when she first appeared people liked her,when she started the personal attacks by calling more or less Obama a "terrorist" she ruined everything.The majority of their supporters also joined her in this whole "hate parade" and both Palin and the supporters kinda forced McCain to make a stand and state that he doesn't support those ideas (i'm talking about the time where McCain disagreed with a supporter of his and said that Obama is a good and honest man etc.Offcourse i don't remember the exact words but i'm sure many of you do).
Something that imho honoured McCain.

Generally all i saw from the republicans was hate for Obama and attacking him anytime with any way possible.
Most of the people who were on the fence about those two,surely preffered voting for Obama and who can blame em?

So,i think the republicans only have their own self to blame.(those who were acting like cannibals offcourse,they're not all the republicans like that,i'm sure).

Why i posted this whole thing?To show that it's really cheap claimming that Obama needed his own grandma to die so he can win the elections.
Btw,as we can see from this very thread,his grandma's death can only be an obstacle in his way to be a president.Why would he do that when till now was pretty certain that he'll win?

Oh,about another thing.Just because ATS is a conspiracy site that doesn't mean that everything is a conspiracy,that's just crazy.I don't even know how the nature of ATS can be used to back up any kind of claims.

My God people! His grandma was the most important person in his life. She was for all intents and purposes his mother. She was also, one of his greatest teachers.

I don't know how many of you would kill your own mother to advance your career?!?!?!? However even neocons would have trouble going that low!

One conspiracy angle I heard today was it might be that Obama needed to tie up one last "loose end" regarding his questionable birth certificate in Hawaii.

But I do not think her death will mean anything in regards to any "sympathy vote".

sorry but i fail to have a single jot of belief in this ridiculous idea, his gran was the most important person in his life also his teacher & i fail to see why he would do anything like what you are suggesting,if he was worried about that fact then why would he need to wipe her out as i think she would keep his secret if there really was one, honestly im actually totally shocked that so many of you can even begin to think that he was capable of anything close to that,instead he is a man who is having to go threw two very difficult emotions, come on which ever way you all lean perhaps its time to have a little compassion for the family, because if you really do have this much suspicion in your hearts then i rather feel you have already gone dark side???

Just removing this one before a mod has to.

no sorry i know you didn't imply that,just the bit about his birth is what others have been saying is very convenient to the timing of her passing. just read back its totally mad,i actually think this whole thread is bizarre. The only strange thing is, as i believe, his gran chose to pass then so she can be by his side in spirit, but that's my experiences in this life. no conspiracy stuff but honestly read back it may make you cross though at the inhumanness of the people??
