Eight teenagers who had crammed into a minivan without enough seat belts after a Halloween bush party were injured yesterday when they their vehicle was T-boned by a pickup truck in Cassidy, just south of Nanaimo.
Four of the teens were initially reported critically injured and flown by helicopter to hospitals in Vancouver and Victoria. However, late last night, Nanaimo RCMP said only one teen remained in critical condition.
