I don't think that way.

I think this person is probably one on the "extreme" scale of expectations.

Is this what McCain Supporters think? The McCain/Palin Mob

See how silly your question is? How dare you judge Obama supporters by one extreme supporter? Do you think McCain supporters are all as ignorant and stupid as those on the Mob video?

So what's the point here?

Are you claiming this woman thinks Obama is going to send her money so she can fill up her car and pay her mortage?

Or is it possible... just possible she's thinking she won't have to worry about these things because in an Obama administration she just might be able to get a decent job that pays a decent wage and she'll be able to do those things because the hard work she has put in for the last 20 years will finally begin to pay her back a little?

I think what the person in that video meant is that she won't have to WORK HARDER to put gas in our cars, she won't have to WORK HARDER to pay her mortgage. These are two fundamental issues going on in our country right now.

Personally for me, yes, I had to WORK HARDER to put gas in my car because the prices were sky high. I put a little less food on the table just to put gas in my car. Now with prices going down, I filled my tank recently for the first time in a year!

The mortgage crisis and the gas prices, yep, two things that truly affect our economy.

Obama, well any federal leader can't really do that.

Local politicians have much more influence over your lives and what happens where you live, but funny most people never get involved in local politics.

Benevolent Heretic, you answered your reply to me. My post was all Questions, I didn't make a judgment.
I really didn't see any Mob. When you use the term Mob, my mind goes to violence and I didn't see any of that.

At first I was feling it with her, I thought she was emotional because for the first time in her (and my) life a black man actually has a chance of becoming president, but NO she says that she will not have to pay for gas or her mortgage. I have never heard Obama say that he is filling up poples gas tanks OR paying their mortgages.
Who is telling these people this stuff?

No, she actually says she won't have to worry about it. Big difference between what you said and what she said.

I worry about paying my bills every damn day. I may say I'd like to have a day where I don't have to worry about paying them, which simply means that I'd like to not have to worry about where the money is going to come from, not that I expect someone else to pay it for me.

This is what democrats think or should i say feel, they seem to feel alot these days like the gov is going to just pay them money to eat chitlins.

I think what she is refering to is reperations, I think she believes she will be getting a nice check from a black president who will push reperations through.

I stand corrected, she did say she will not have to worry about it. Meaning that she will receive help from the government to do these things.
Nothing wrong with that. except she expects more welfare. I wish she was excited about help from the government to further her education so she can get a better job so SHE WON'T NEED HELP filling her gas tank or paying her mortgage.

I think some are living in a fantasy world, maybe a good paying job?,funny people seem to overlook the financile situation, the US is going broke, where is all the money going to come from? all theses big supposed plans and no way to fund them as I've said before people are mistaken fantasy for reality,it will be a long hard road ahead, and buy heavy taxation I can't see how it could work because 70% of people will be out of work, these people who work for the government, how long do you think they will work when your governor says"sorry budget is gone,we will send you a paycheck as soon as we collect enough money" I'm thinking not long at all

And exactly on what are you basing the assumption that she expects more welfare?

[heavy sarcasm] Oh wait, she didn't have to say that because she's black and supports Obama, therefore she MUST have meant that she expects MORE welfare, because she's obviously on welfare because she's black

Your deductive skills are astounding.

Had it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe some people who are Obama supporters are hard working ordinary folks who don't expect a handout?

What evidence do you have to support this assumption?

I wish she was excited about help from the government to further her education so she can get a better job

What evidence do you have she is not?

And now that I read over some of the other responses and watch the video again, I realize her expectations aren't extreme. Frankly, I won't have to worry as much about putting food on the table or putting gas in my car after Obama's tax cuts for the middle class take effect, either.

Some prejudices here couldn't be more blatant or more clear. Why is it always about race? It's pretty sickening...

My thoughts exactly. Why is it always about race with some people?

Tell me then, why did you assume she's on welfare? Did she say she was?
