Seen this on another site it looks like a crater... but why is everything pink, I don't quite understand what I'm looking at so I thought ABS would be the best place to start. Anyway I hope someone might know something about this Google Maps image.

maps.google.se...,134.667664&spn=0.530653,1.230469&t=h&z=10

Thanks.

You have to paste the rest of the link into the address to see what he's talking about. I didn't see anything unusual though.

It's not Norway, it's nearest to Yakutsk, Siberia. It's north of Ulaanbataar, Mongolia, for heaven's sake. Meteor crater? Defunct volcano? Still, pretty decent find. What were you doing scoping out that part of the world? Nothing there but yaks. lol

Just kidding. The Russians have lots of UFO reports and lakes disappearing overnight and stuff. You never know what you might find. Keep looking!

Ask on the Google Earth discussion boarads. You will probably get a reply from someone who lives near the thing or has been there and can identify it.
