I take exception to some of these groups being listed as CULTS. I attended Eckankar meetings in Sedona, AZ for about 2 years. It was just meetrings. No one brainwashed anyone. I never formally joined, but I did attend. I also spoke up if I disagreed with anything....like one time, when they got into "bashing" Christians.
Except for Rael's group, Heaven's Gate and maybe a couple others, I don't consider just experiencing aliens and UFOs as being a CULT. In order for something to be a CULT, there has to be a LEADER. There is no LEADER in studying UFOs and ETs.
I am an abductee and a walk-in, but I don't have a LEADER. I also live at home and go where I please, and think whatever I want to think.
