I personally do not like John Edwards for what he has done to his dying wife.

OK here is what concerns me, if they let John Edwards that close to the Democractic Nomination knowing full well that this kind of info could come out it makes you wonder if the Dems higher-ups would allow something like that happen to Obama. (i.e. Birth Certificate Scandal, LA times video, Michelle Obama video etc)

I thought the affair was a result of the mistress being hired to film Edward's campaign ads?

That would make this a non issue for the last election he was in, as it wasn't a problem yet...

Yes but he knew way before he ran and during his bid that he was dating her. If he would have gotten farther in the race then what? It would have come out after the primaries were over and then the Dems wouldnt stand a chance in the Gen. Election.
