Funniest thing I've ever read. "Oh, al Qaeda endorsed McCain? Must be reverse psychology."

It was announced yesterday October 25th that an appeal was made to the Supreme Court for an expidited hearing on the case. It could be taken up as early as this week, or just after the genaeral election but before the electorial college gets the chance to vote. This was what happened in the Bush V Gore case in 2000.

The issue will be twofold. Does the Plaintiff have standing as a citizen under the US Constitution to demand proof of qualification by any person wanting to be elected president. And if so, that the Court find for the Plaintiff and command Barack Hussein Obama to immediately release his actual vault version of his original birth certificate for examination and clarification as proof of US citizenship.

IMO, unfortunately, Berg will not have a "standing" until Obama is inaugurated.

The State Department does it. He just isn't satisfied with their decision (which is fine with me).

Just pointing out that he has gone through the hoops, Berg just wants to see proof of it.

According to the Judge that dismissed the case, Berg only has standing once the election takes place. The founding fathers put a space of time between the general election and the electorial college vote. Just winning the popular vote does not make him president. Only the electorial college can elect a president. Berg will have standing right after the general election, and that's when it will be decided. Case support for court action in that time frame can be seen with Bush V Gore 2000. The founding fathers were wise to put some time between the general vote and the electorial college.

Actually, I just watched a video posted on the ATS as "The October Surprise" where Berg says McCain has shown his actual birth certifcate plus all of his medical records. Obama has not done either.

Berg is full of crap. He's not referring to McCain having shown his documents in court, because McCain has not shown them in court. The cases against him were dismissed for the same reasons that the case against Obama was dismissed. Inability for the plaintiff to show an INJURY IN FACT.

NOPE, your counter is pure illogical conjecture. Obama, or his lawyers, chose to get the lawsuit dismissed in a foolish manner, the longer more dificult route. The easier, more sure route would have been to produce the legal birth certificate, and prove that the grounds on which the lawsuit were brought have no merit. Now, the lawsuit can carry on to the supreme court, and possibly be brought again should Obama become president elect.

Not getting this lawsuit dismissed by producing the legal birth certificate was either extremely foolish, or a stall tactic. Either the Obama camp isn't very bright, or Obama isn't a naturalized citizen of the U.S., which means either he shouldn't be POTUS, or he is ineligable to be POTUS.

McCain has already proven himself. McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone at a U.S. Army hospital. McCain had legal experts vet his constitutional qualifications, and he also disclosed a copy of his birth certificate. I don't understand why Obama refuses to prove himself to the American people. Sounds guilty to me.

Oh gee, the lawsuit has been dismissed due to lack of evidence and reason from Mr Berg... what a surprise...

I believe THIS is the McCain birth certificate you are referring to.. But even if he really was born in panama on that date, he would still be an American citizen by law. I posted this in a different thread, but this is basically why..

The point, in my view, isn't whether or not they are citizens but rather why this is being brought up now at all.. The answer is that this whole thing has its roots in an increasingly desperate Republican party that doesn't exactly like the idea of Democrats having the white house while at the same time having a majority in the Senate. It compromises everything the Republican party has worked so hard on over the past 20-30 years in which the Republicans have had all the power.

But what we need is change.. And I think people have finally seen how McCain isn't really the man everyone thought he was. He makes almost as many speech errors as Bush.. And after all that the McCain campaign has gone through to get to this point they probably feel their chances slipping away. And not only their chances. It doesn't help that McCain's campaign is easily one of the worst run campaigns ever. People see that Obama has the temperment and intelligence to get things done that need to get done. If Obama wins the presidency, which he probably will, George W. Bush will go down in history as not only the worst president in American history but also the singular reason for the fall of Republican power in Washington.

OK. One more time. The JUDGE did NOT RULE that OBAMA had to SHOW HIS DOCUMENTS to BERG. The JUDGE DISMISSED the CASE.

As one lawyer commented, BERG had NO LEGAL RIGHT to the DOCUMENTS. So OBAMA was NOT REQUIRED to PRODUCE THEM to BERG'S RELIEF.

Now -- if you want to persist in your silliness, do so to your own discredit, and demise. Talk when the cops say talk. Talk when lawyers who are against you say talk. And you will surely hang yourself.

What you should do is hunt down that video that exists here on ATS that informs you why the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution is very important for all US citizens to understand. If you have seen it, watch it again. And if you've watched it twice or more times already, watch it again.

Like you or Berg would be able to declare Obama eligible or not eligible to run for POTUS, simply by him showing you his birth certificate. Neither you or Berg have any legal authority to judge Obama on that. And neither of you have a legal resource of what "natural born" means to support the judgment.

Not too long ago you folks claimed that there was a "whitey tape".. then not long after that it was the rumor about Obama dumping Biden for Hillary. Even if there was a tape it wouldnt do much because first of all Obama has only come into contact with his relatives recently. All of them, including his grandmother, had only met him for the first time in 2005/2006. She hardly knows him and his childhood, he hardly knows her and his half brothers and cousins, his been living in a different world to them. Newsflash, a thorough investigation has been carried out, numerous times.
